Hi All

Below is a testimonial from my family and I. We had a great time and can't wait for our next trip to China. I am happy to answer any questions from people who may wish to ask about the excellent service you provided.

Thank you TravelChinaGuide for a truly excellent holiday. We have had the best possible experience we could have imagined. China is a beautiful and friendly country.

More importantly, your service was the major factor in how much we enjoyed ourselves. Our Travel China Guide consultants helped us to create a fully customised trip for the three of us that was fantastic. Also having two adults and a 10 year old was easily handled by you ensuring we could all be together in accommodation and on flights. Your advice prior to our trip and your quick responses to all our emails helped us immensely in planning our itinerary. In fact you made it simple for us to tour China even though we had no knowledge of the language.

Starting in Shanghai and at every stop there after each guide was waiting for us along with the driver to ensure we had no worries or had to panic about getting anywhere on our own. Likewise each guide saw us through check in and ensured we were all set to board our next flight, train or boat. In particular here I must mention Lily in Chongqing, who had waited to see us off and then saw our very tall 10 year old was stopped by airport security as they didn’t seem to believe a 10 year old could be taller than all of them.. Lily was fantastic rushing through the gates and check in area to talk directly with security on our behalf and sort out the problem. Likewise in Xian, our fantastic guide, Lily (another Lily), waited at the train station with us for an hour and half, and then actually came to the train to ensure we got the right cabin.

All our guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and were able to customise each location to allow for the places we most wanted to see. For example in Guilin we visited the Tiger and Bear Sanctuary which was not on our original programme, but to see hundreds of tigers in one place was simply stunning and a highlight of our trip. We were also able to explore on our own whenever we wished which was a great opportunity to interact with a wide variety of locals.

Dear Tina and Maggie,

First of all we like to compliment your company for the way you handled our whole tour, we would recommend you to everybody in Europe and especially in the Netherlands. From the first moment we arrived till the moment we (sadly) left it was perfect! We surely hope to come back.

The meals and shows all were great; we loved the different styles of Chinese food each and every day. The farewell dinner in Shanghai was the very best we will remember for a long time.

Again all our guides were excellent and their English pronunciation was even better then ours (we are Dutch).

We loved Cheryl in Beijing like she was family and we missed her from the moment we left. We also enjoyed the skills off your experienced drivers; they did a real good job, were always on time and kept their minivans clean all the way. We specially liked the new Buicks they sometimes drove.

The four star hotels were all quiet good, the Holiday Inn Central Plaza in Beijing was even excellent (could be a five star hotel) and the breakfast was amazing. We would recommend a hotel closer to the Central Square, the Bund or Nanjing street. We recommend everybody to take the boat tour on the Li River with overnight stay in the beautiful small town Guilin and have the four or five day cruise on the Yangtze.
