The meals were generally good quality for Asian food. Some Americans and Europeans might find them a bit different and not the same as they are used to, but we enjoyed them. For us, Xian was better than Beijing choices, Shanghai was better than Xian choices. The best meal was the evening meal in the Central Hotel Wang Bao He. It was most enjoyable from the standpoint of service, food and atmosphere .

All guides were very good. Brian in Beijing was the must understandable English and helpful when my daughter's flight was late, Helen in Xian was the most knowledgeable of history and Rachel in Shanghai was easy to talk to and willing to share information on both old and new China.

All drivers were generally safe and courteous (for Asian drivers).

The trip was really fun and the best time we have experienced while travelling in Asia! The schedule of places and events from reading the website was very intimidating (and worrisome that we might not get what we paid for), but we had a great time. The ability to customize the tour to our wishes and the help of the guides was the key. The guides were right there to meet us and help us through all phases of the trip from airports to meals to museums and shows. Highly recommended.

Overall very good service - I have already been recommending TCG to all my friends, family and colleagues.

Meals were excellent. I really enjoyed the Peking Duck we were served in Beijing but other meals were good too. The food in Xian was great and the breakfast at the Sofitel Shanghai was fantastic.

Helen in Guilin was very enthusiatic and took loads of photos for us. She was very proactive in this respect and thankfully we now have a lot of photos where both my husband and I feature which is memorable. Dobbin was also amazingly knowledgeable and probably had the best command of English. He knew things that were even beyond his capacity to know like how to cook a Peking duck, Chinese traditional medicines and even conversations about the financial markets. We really had a good time together. Helen in Xian was good too and John was very enthusiastic, energetic and a lot of fun.

We used TravelChinaGuide on the back of testimonials on the website and were not dissapointed. We had a private 10 day tour arranged and everything was well organised and the guides were very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time seeing Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai and are now busy convincing our friends and families to go visit China and use TravelChinaGuide to arrange the trip. We researched other travel agents in China and TCG offered the best quality/value! If we return to China for another tour, we will definetely use TCG.

I would like to thank you all at Travel China Guide I have had one of the most wonderful experiences for traveling I have ever had. Right from the word go, when I was met at the Xian airport until the guide Villa waved me good-bye.

The hotel was excellent, the choice of restaurants and food excellent. The different places we visited were well planned and thought through. Villa the guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, considerate and was flexible. She made the whole trip an absolute pleasure and seemed to make the whole experience run as if it was a well oiled machine. Villa is a credit to your organization, as you all are.

In the spring of next year I will taking another holiday this time for between 14 - 20 days and I will most certainly be coming to China Travel Guide to organise.
