Dear TravelChinaGuide,

Just a quick note to say thank you for a fantastic tour of Shanghai, Guilin, and Yangshuo. The tour guides spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable about the places we visited. As our group consisted of my mother, myself, and my son and daughter (who are young adults), we were worried that the tour would be geared either too young or too old for all of us to enjoy. We needed have been concerned! The tour guides were both young adults who related well to my son and daughter but they were also very accommodating and engaging with my mother and I. Joe in Shanghai spoke perfect English, and Sandy in Guilin looked after us very well, even going out of her way to sort out issues we had with greedy taxi's and indifferent hotel staff at Yangshuo.

The hotel accommodation and service in Shanghai (Ramada Plaza Hotel) and Guilin (Sheraton Hotel) was definitely 5 star - they were fantastic.

The Portman Acrobatic Show in Shanghai and the Ethnic songs and dances at Guilin was enjoyed by everyone in our group. My son and daughter preferred the Acrobatic show whilst my mother and I preferred the Ethnic songs and dances in Guilin. The scenic boat ride along the Li river was spectacular and highly recommended (even with the dozen or so other tour boats chugging along the river with you).

All in all, the sites, tour guides, drivers, hotels and food was excellent and enabled my family and I to have a wonderful holiday in China. I would recommend TravelChinaGuide to anyone looking for a private tour in China.

Hello!!! We are finally home from our wonderful vacation and yes, I would love to provide you with some feedback. First of all, we had an incredible vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and you planned our trip out very very well. Dora, it was such a pleasure to meet you after all of these months, you have been so great to work with and I hope our paths cross again in the future. I will definitely recommend your agency to my friends and family. I would prefer that this email address not be posted to your website but I will send you my personal email address that you can post to the site.

For Xian, the hotel was lovely and the breakfasts were very good. The lunch we had on October 1 was ok...... the service was very good but the food was just ok. The Tang Dynasty dinner show was excellent and the food there was excellent. Lunch on October 2nd was excellent. food and service
were wonderful. The lunch at the airport before our flight was really not that good...

Phoebe was a great tour guide, she is very knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed our tours with her. She definitely has a command of the English language and we learned a lot about Xian from her. The driver was great and the van was very clean.

For Beijing, we think that Rose is the most perfect tour guide that we have ever had!!!!!!!!!!!! She is so very knowledgeable and she always looked out for us no matter where we were. We so enjoyed meeting her and spending time on our tour. We were thrilled to see her on Oct 6 when we returned to Beijing and again on Oct 8 for our departure. She is such a wonderful person and AWESOME tour guide. The driver was also so very friendly and the car was spotless!! Hotel in Beijing was wonderful and all breakfasts were excellent. Huge selection of food for breakfast and great location for the hotel. Lunch the first day was very good and the Beijing Duck dinner was excellent. We also enjoyed the opera performance very much with our fantastic location of the seats!! Lunch on Sept 29th was incredible... it was so delicious, I don't think we left a crumb behind on the plate... very very good food there. Dinner that night was just ok... I would not highly recommend this restaurant.

In Shanghai, the hotel was great and breakfasts were excellent. Zhao was a wonderful tour guide, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The driver was also very friendly and the van was always very clean. Lunch on Oct 4th was good but the dinner was excellent that night. We also enjoyed the acrobatic show very much... what a great show to have on your tour.

Overall, I would say that you selected excellent tour guides for us and for Beijing, we found the perfect tour guide in Rose!!! Thank you so much for all of your hard work in arranging everything for us. We appreciate all that you did and we had such a great vacation, I wish we could come back
very soon and do it all over again. The shows you booked were wonderful, and with just two exceptions, all the restaurants were EXCELLENT!! we ate very well!!! We learned so much from the tour guides and we took over 750 pictures. When we get them organized I will share some with you. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
