The overall time at the various locations was adequate for our interests. The information relayed was interesting and presented in a historical context.

The meals were very good. The dumplings were our favorite. The hot pot was too hot for a hot day. There was too much food for us as we don't eat that much for lunch. But there was always a good variety for many tastes and food choices.

Your guides are very well trained and dependable. It was nice to be met at the airport or other locations with such dependability. They were always ready to make us feel well cared for and ready to tour when we were ready.

Of particular note, our guide, David in Beijing was one of our favorites as he had a great sense of humor and a caring attitude. He had lots of great information and was a good teacher at everything from Chinese, to learning about the different dynasties. His English was excellent.

Another guide that garnered our attention was Jigme, our Tibetan guide in Lhasa. He was so cordial and able to impart a wonderful knowledge and history of the Tibetan culture that we came away with a feeling of awe and spiritual awakening to this very unique culture. His English was very good and easy to understand. He made special efforts to make us feel comfortable and understood that the altitude could be a problem. We loved Tibet!

All of our drivers were careful and made the trip enjoyable. There were no guides that we had that were not well trained.

Our only part we didn't like were all the trips to the factories when we weren't really interested in buying Jade or Silk or Pearls. Although interesting to see the process, we felt pressured and uncomfortable and we also felt it a waste of our time. Some travelers like to shop, others are there only to see the sights. We are more the sight seeing type of traveler. Perhaps you could offer some alternatives for those of us non shoppers.
