Dear Flora and Eileen,

First let me say that we had a truly wonderful trip to China. We will definitely recommend to all of our friends and family that they should visit China and use your company. You can feel free to give out my e-mail address if any visitors from the USA have any specific questions or concerns.

I will answer your questions individually as you have stated them (see below).

The meals (on the whole) were terrific. I especially remember the restaurants in Shanghai and the Peking Duck Dinner. All other meals were very good. It was interesting to taste different flavors in the foods. The only meal that I did not enjoy was the lunch on Sept 9th in Beijing. I loved having the meals arranged for us. It made it much easier.

The breakfasts were all very good too except for the hotel in Luoyang.

I could spent many hours telling you how pleased we were with all but one of our guides. Rebecca, Anna, Jamie and Ray were all wonderful. They were extremely accommodating, flexible, warm, caring and concerned about making us happy. They NEVER hesitated to modify the day if they felt it would be beneficial to us. They were totally involved in sharing their knowledge and went out of their way to satisfy us. They were patient when we wanted to spend more time at a particular place. They always had smiles on their faces. All of the guides spoke English very nicely.

All of the drivers were courteous, friendly and always had a smile on their faces.

As stated earlier, four of our tour guides were lovely and each one of them will ALWAYS stand out in my mind. Anna was the one who took such good care of us, specifically writing down directions in English and Chinese so that we could get places on our own (when we had free time). She continually asked us our opinion and gave us options. Rebecca was also great. She stood by us and did her best to always find us Western bathrooms. Windy gave us a slightly different perspective being that she was a younger guide. Her English was great and she told us some funny jokes. Jamie was so sweet and continually gave us information. Lastly, we will always remember Ray's sense of humor. It was delightful to end our China experience with him.

Hello Tina and Maggie,

Sorry this has taken so long to reply but we have been busy sight-seeing!

Firstly thank you very much for all your help in organising our Yangtze cruise, we had a wonderful time and will definately recommend both the trip and your company. We have dealt with CITS a few times as well and find your company so much better than they are and always dread having to get them to book tickets or anything for us!

The food was a good mix between Chinese and Western and we found lunch to be the best meal of all. We also liked the snacks provided at the Captain's introduction.

Our guide were conscientious, good English speaking and knowledgeable. Our driver and guide who picked us up after the cruise were fantastic, the car was clean, the driver safe and careful (and didn't beep his horn which we appreciated!) and even stopped at an internet cafe for us.

Being able to pay for our train tickets by cash on arrival was fantastic, thank you for trusting us to do this.
