Good Evening TravelChinaGuide,

All our tour arrangements in all our cities we visited in China including Xian were great, everything went exactly to plan and we could have not been happier.

The meals were all of a high standard, the cars great and the guides were extremely helpful, hard working and very knowledgeable about every aspect of China and the locations we visited. All guides went the extra mile to ensure that we made the most of our holiday.

We would like to pass on our special thanks to Luna our guide in Guilin and Sara our guide in Beijing who really made our holiday just that extra special. Travelled with our 2 daughters aged 10 and 14, both guides treated them like sisters and made effort to ensure that they got the most out of the holiday, which in turn meant that we got the most out of the holiday.

Once again thank you for such a great trip and we would highly recommend TCG to anyone considering a holiday in China. Using the internet and TravelChinaGuide was safe, easy and very cost effective.

In Urumqi:
Joy the guide was at the airport to pick us up. Hotel is fine even if we did not have much time to spend there... the next morning wake up was 5:30! Ok with us!!! Hotel served breakfast even if it was very early, room ok. Former Holiday Inn more than three years ago...now it's like a 3 star.

In Turpan:
Joy was there again to meet us at the airport and took us to lunch (at our expenses) as we did not want to have lunch in Kashi it was too early. One of the best guides of the tour! Kind, prepared very sociable, very good English, very funny! Thanks to Joy we really had a good time there. Always with us very helpful also during procedures at the train station and stayed with us until the train left. Thousand Buddha Caves and Flaming hill both very nice, the landscape there is beautiful.

Train has been a very nice experience. Very comfortable and clean. Also toilets are kept clean at all times

In Dunhuang & Jiayuguan:
Our guide was there to pick us up to take us to hotel and to lunch. Guide very professional, very kind and well prepared, good English. The camel ride is a real "tourist" experience... but the desert there is very nice. The Mogao grottes is very interesting. The Jiayuguan pass very nice landscape and site. Breakfast no buffet but ok for the American breakfast. Both lunch in the hotel were acceptable. Did not have lunch and exchanged it with a dinner upon arrival in Lanzhou.

In Lanzhou:
Hotel good standard also for breakfast, with good buffet. In center town very nice for evening stroll the hotel location is perfect. The Guide one of the best we had during the trip. Very good English, kind, helpful at all times. We also asked to visit the museum in town which is really very very interesting, and she took us there and explained everything to us, very professional. Shame for the rainy weather ... but the Binglingsi Grottes is a wonderful place and the excursion on the river very very nice!!! It's really worth it!

In Xian:
Hotel good standard also for breakfast, with good buffet. Handy location even if far for center. Our guide Carol the best of the tour. Very good English, very well prepared, very helpful, very professional and reactive. Thanks to you and to her we were able to change our programme so fast as one of us was sick. Even if we do regret to have missed Pinyao we had a very good and interesting time in Xian. Restaurants good, just passable the dinner at the dancing performance, very touristic not really our style. The best bus driver of the tour, professional, kind, we really liked him. Also the other drivers along the tour have been professional... but he has been our beloved one.

In general all the staff working in hotels and restaurants visited were all very professional, kind, courteous, helpful... always trying their best to communicate... in fact this is China, all the people are so friendly it's just great!!!

To Cynthia Xiao, Vicky Dong and all the staff goes our biggest thanks!!! For having been always so fast while programming the trip. For having been always so kind in helping to find alternatives when needed. For having helped us changing programme when we were sick. For having been always there close to us day after day, always keeping an eye on us. Thank you, because without you this would not have happened. Thanks for making our journey the best possible one as it has really been! You are very professional people and this I say from the bottom of my heart, as a tour guide, as I am, in this business more than 20 years. After three months spent in China working for the Olympics this was the best way to close our stay in China.
