Hi Linda & Maggie,

This has been long overdue. I apologize for the delay. Please feel free to post our comments on your website.

We had an amazing time in Beijing and we are very pleased with the overall service we received from your company. During the planning stage of our trip, I appreciate your patience in answering our many questions including accommodating the additional requests that we had asked. That made all the difference to us in finally choosing to book our trip with your company although we were not familiar with your company or know of anyone with previous experience with your services.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at the Wangfujing district. It was a nice hotel and the room was very clean although a bit small. They had a wide arrangement of food for breakfast and they were at a good location since it was close to a shopping district not to mention the Night Market.

The meals arranged during our tour were all good. The meat dishes came with a lot of vegetables which we very much liked. One thing that would have been nice though was if we had more choices in the meals arranged. The dishes that we liked best were the ones served during lunch at the restaurant we passed by before heading to the Great Wall. If you could actually provide me with the names of all the restaurants we have been to I would greatly appreciate it so I can note them in our travel journal.

Our guide, Cheryl was very gracious and accommodating. Her English was good and her conversational skills was excellent! She was able to answer all our questions to our satisfaction and if she did not know the answer she would in turn ask in our behalf and provide the answer. She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and provided very good insight into the Chinese culture based on personal experiences. We felt that Cheryl was more of our friend in China rather than our guide. She helped us plan our extra days and even wrote our destinations in Chinese so we can in turn give the instructions to the taxi drivers. She was concerned about our welfare and showed a genuine interest in us as well as making sure we have the best experience in Beijing. To us, Cheryl demonstrated a high standard of service and professionalism in her job.

The car that was provided during our tour was very comfortable. It was very clean and it is obvious that the driver maintains the car well. Our driver did not speak English as well however he was always courteous and would open the doors for us when we were getting in or out of the car.

I have actually recommended your company to a friend who has booked a tour with your company and I will continue to recommend your services to anyone who plan on travelling to China. I plan on arranging future travel plans to the rest of China with your company as well.

Hello Tina and Maggie,

There are so much to see at each city, I think Travel China Guide did a wonderful job planning and scheduling events for each city. I know we didn't spend too much time per each sighseeing spots. However, i believe tourists understand we have tied schedule and lots to see so If people wants to have more time, they have to sign up for a longer tour. I think your company is doing a great job.

I think all the meals are great. There were always foods left over and most meals were very tasty. In Beijing, the restaurant "Happy Buddist" was not my favor because the service wasn't good. Also, my daughter doesn't eat meat and I wish the arrangement for her could have been better.

Our favorite resturant for the one that our guide took us in Guilin. Lu was our guide and she took us to a noodle/dumpling restaurant that is a local favor. It is 5 minutes from the hotel. It was the best meal. Our group enjoyed it very much.

We love all the guide. They are all great guides. Cars were always clean and driver always there on time. No problem at all. Ruth from Xian was exceptionally good. She was always there checking on us during meals, very knowledge about Xian. I learned so much about Xian from our guide, Ruth, I felt like I took a history lesson. Our guide "Du" from Beijing was great too. He is funny and entertaining. Our whole group enjoyed his funny stories and we sing on our bus to and from sightseeing. Please thanks all the guides for us. We have a memorable trip and they made a hugh difference.
