- Beijing Duck Dinner would be recommended! other meals were good too, the last day lunch was quite nice..the second day lunch place was very pretty, but the food was not too impressive.some dishes were repeated over lunch and dinner over the course of two days like the chicken/ pork/ fish battered in sweet sauce - it could be replaced with some other dishes, perhaps dumplings!!

- the guide was very good, we were overall satisfied with the service. furthermore, he went out of his way to organize visit to chairman Mao's memorial on the last day though it was unplanned in the tour - although the plan did not actually materialize based on the queue. he had a well-rounded knowledge of the tour spots!

- the car was very well maintained and at a good condition all the way. service attitude of the driver was good too, welcoming and entertaining. additioanlly, he had to replace flat tyre on the second day in the middle of a busy motorway - which was very impressive.

Hello Kina,

I'll be happy to give comments about my little trip to Xian. First about my pre-tour service: I was very pleased and impressed by how professionally and quickly all my questions and concerns were handled, even with the high level of uncertainty my trip had. Thanks a lot.

Second about the tour details:
1- About the food, the restaurant I was taken to was clean and nice, the food was ok as well, but it was "europeanized" Chinese, maybe for a lot of people that's convenient but i would have loved something more local people's style.
2- Guides: I went around with only one guide of course, Helen. She was very professional and very nice, she has a real good knowledge of the history of the places we've been to, she told me a lot about them. She was also generally a very pleasant company. Her command of English was great as well. I had a really nice day and enjoyed my tour a lot. Big thanks to Helen from me.
3- Cars: The car was clean and comfy and the driver was good.

I would def. recommend you to any of my friends who wants to travel around China. See you on my next visit to China.

Dear Ruby/Dora

As promissed I am sending you my detailed feedback togheter with some photos to be published on your site. You can publish also my email address.

"Me, togheter with my family (my wife and my 6 years old little girl) went in the tour "Classic China and Yangtze Cruise" in August 2009. We visited - Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo, Chongqing, Yangtze Cruise, Yichang, Shanghai with all sigths from the mentioned cities.

Before starting the tour we were afraid about the rainy weather, being monsoon season, but we were extremely lucky as only 1 day of 16 were with drizzle.

I can start saying that the golden tour paid off all the money as the accomodation, meals and sightseeings were perfect and flawless. We didnt have any default in tour timing and we succeeded to accomplish all. Everiything was really 5 stars.

I would like to thank you also to Ruby and Dora for their customer excellence skills and the way they managed my tons of emails to them.

The local guides were very professional, skilled, supportive and flexible to any adjustments we asked for.

The local vans were clean and the drivers supportive.

The food was great with a very good mixture.
