We just finished our 3 week trip planned thru you and wanted to send you a thank you message for your wonderful arrangements. We had a glorious time in China --and our trip will be a memorable one. China is a beautiful country -- and we had a great time.

Your arrangements were excellent -- detailed and accurate . Local guides provided at every location were courteous, knowledgeable and kind. Of all the guides provided by you, Rocky at Lijiang was exceptionally good including his language skills and knowledge of the area indicating that he had more years of experience than the rest. Transportation arranged was clean -and all drivers were very good. Meals were also very nice

Some suggestions

1) Meals - We would have preferred an option to order Chinese meals "A La Carte" in lieu of fixed menu at the various sites- this way we could have enjoyed the Chinese meals even more and there would not have been wastage. Maybe a good idea also to give option of Western meals on a few days - this way we will enjoy your Chinese meals even more

2) Internal Flights -- if detailed information is given before the trip --it helps us in our planning

3) Having a step stool handy would have made it easier to get in and out of the van. Also getting to the back seat of the van provided in Beijing was difficult as we had to maneuver between the front passenger seats. There was no access near the door to get to the back seats.

Dear Sophie Yang & Vicky Dong:

We are not home to the USA yet. We added two weeks to our cruise and are now in Istanbul, Turkey ~ BUT we have a good internet connection and I wanted to answer your comments survey before I even forget where we've been...we will have been gone from home 2 months tomorrow and transited 10 countries!

How could we ever forget our time in China? It was the highlight of our 2 month trip!!

Alex and I were supremely thrilled with the way our experience with Travel China Guide turned out! From the moment we landed in Beijing and the guide and driver met us at baggage claim we were in confident, prompt, friendly and efficient hands. All of our arrangements ran on time. The guides in both cities were friendly and knowledgeable. They were on time and very familiar with the in's and out's of the many sites we visited tailoring our itinerary each day to best utilize our time and avoid crowds. All of the cars were clean, odor free and the drivers friendly and safe. Travel China Guide was immediately responsive to our request the final day for a larger car to tour in as we had all of our excessive luggage with us for the airport after the tour.

The hotels we stayed in were lovely especially the Crown Plaza in Beijing...the Intercontinental in Xian was clean but the lighting was dull in the room and it had been hard used. The public areas were fine. The breakfast at the Crown Plaza was excellent and very very good too at the Intercontinental.

The lunches provided in Beijing were excellent...the rustic one as well as the one at the resort. The only disappointing meal..actually the only negative about the whole experience was the Peking Duck. Every thing else rated way above our expectations. I would not recommend the Peking dinner in that large room at the hotel...the food was cold...the atmosphere very cold and uninteresting. Our friends went to a place where the ducks were hanging on a turn style and they had loads of atmosphere and then went to the Opera afterward. Our Opera location and experience was very good and we were glad we'd done chosen to do it....added a lot to the cultural experience.

We would be happy to recommend Travel China Guide, based on our experience, to anyone. It was recommended to us by friends and we were not only not disappointed but delighted with our experience. If we are ever able to come to China again...Travel China Guide will be the first one we contact so we can see the country through the eyes of someone who lives there. Please give our best regards to Lilly in Xian...our Terricotta Warriors will probably make it home before we do!
