Dear Maggie and Lorna,

As you will see from my comments below, we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our tour with your company. I wouldn't hesitate recommending your company and services to anyone travelling to China. The guides, the sites and the food were top class. Our only regret is that we didn't have a guide in Shanghai, as I am sure we didn't do that city justice. The Days Hotel in Shanghai also presented some problems for us. Communication here was a problem - no one in the hotel spoke much English. The hotel itself was very comfortable, but next time, we would probable also situate ourselves a little more in the centre of the city. There was a lot of construction/ demolition happening around this hotel also. But in all we managed to see most highlights on our list. I commend you and your team on your diligence and expertise in delivering a first class tour package. We have compared notes with friends who have done similar tours of China and we believe our tour package was far superior. This China tour will be etched in our memories forever. All meals were excellent - couldn't have wished for better anywhere. The one most memorable however, was the day we went to the Great Wall. Unsure of the name of the restaurant, but not only was the food delicious but the entertainment was delightful also.

All of our guides were wonderful in every way. We were disappointed with ourselves for being economical and not availing ourselves of your guide services in Shanghai. Many hours were lost just negotiating our way around the city and trying to catch cabs - communication being a big problem. Next time we will have a guide in every city. Silly us.

All the guides spoke very good English and we had no problems communicating with them. They were all a delight to be with.

All guides were very knowledgeable about their country, their people, as well as the Chinese culture.

Your drivers were amazing, their skills outstanding. Australia, and I am sure a lot of other countries, could learn alot from China, regarding city setouts, and the use of ring roads. Traffic seems to continually flow - not like here in Australia where we have continually traffic jams. Your drivers were courteous, friendly and the standard of car and its condition exceeded our expectations.

I would like to extend a special thank you to our Beijing Guide, Gloria. She is an amazing young lady. I suppose, because we had a significant amount of days with Gloria, it is understandable that a friendship was formed between her and all members of our family. She gives 110% to her job and made us feel very special. We were sad to say goodbye.

The only meal we did not think was up to your standards was the lunch we had in Beijing on the 18th. The meal was not as tasty as the other ones. I do not recall the name of the place. Otherwise we were very happy.

All three guides were excellent. They all spoke English well. They were well informed and willing to get more details for us when questions came up. Linda in Beijing and Alan in Shanghai were very accommodating of last minute requests - Tracy in Xi'an was also good but we were there such a short time we did not have time for any last minute requests! Linda was able to make last minute arrangements for us for a silk and jade factory, and Alan in Shanghai made last minute arrangements for us to see the acrobatic show as well as take the high speed train to the airport. Alan also arranged for us to have an appointment with a tailor. The cars were great and drivers very gracious. Everyone was very anxious that we had an enjoyable and educational experience.
