Dear Nicole/Dora,

Many thanks for a very memorable tour. My compliments for your suggestions and the overall results. I prefer to travel alone or with only one person.

Meals: The meals provided were excellent allowing for plenty and a variety of tastes to introduce me to the local food of China and the differences in various regions.

The Guides were punctual, personal,flexable to suit me,and had an everlasting flow of interesting knowledge of their area. English language was no problem and they showed an interest in where I came from and the differences in culture.

The real China is unknown to the outside world and the tree lined roads, magnificient Buildings modern and old, Museums to be the envy of the outside world, oil paintings by the most interesting artists, particularly the Gallery in Fengtai. District South Fourth Ring dahongmen Nishi Jimei Furniture City Beijing,and the area known as M50 in Shanghai.

The cars were clean, good drivers and skillful with traffic.

The Guides, Verina in Pingyao, JJ in Shanghai, and Linda in Shenzhen were as professional as any Guide, elsewhere in the world where I have travelled and more genuinely friendly than most.

My only complaint was the rock hard bed in Pingyao,but that is the local norm. In Pingyao through no fault of the Guide, as I study Battlefields, I would like to hear of Battles in that area. Which combatants won and stories of past victories and attacks on the Walls of the city. China was a very warlike country and their armour and methods would be of interest.

The Bund in Shanghai is well known throughout the world and when the changes have been made I will travel to Shanghai to see the real Bund. Maybe I will attend the 2010 celebrations in that city.

My main purpose to travel to China this trip was to attend the Beijing International Book Fair. One of the largest in the world. The range of countries attending and the exhibits were simply amazing.

I have started to investigate the potential courses of my next Trip and look forward to being surprised by the enterprise, history and culture of an amasing country.

When I find time I will send some of the best of my photos. I hope you will enjoy them as I do.

Dear Tina and Maggie,

I must apologise for the long delay in answering your email dated 3rd May 2009. It isn't very long ago since we returned home after enjoying ourselves visiting many countries.

From the moment we arrived in Beijing and until we departed we experienced the most wonderful journey that anyone could imagine. Our guide Linda was such a beautiful person whose pronunciation of English was quite incredible and her knowledge of Chinese history impeccable. I cannot speak too highly of her as I think she is a credit to your company and a great asset.

She was very prompt each day and always had a lovely smile on her face and nothing was a trouble to her. If I were lucky enough to visit your city again I would dearly love Linda to be my guide again. The driver too was a very likeable relaxed young man and I must say an excellent driver on your very busy road system.

As for our meals my husband and I enjoyed everyone of them. At the first restaurant the chicken dish was amazing and whoever chose and organised the meals has to be congratulated as they were all outstanding.

As for our hotel it too was fantastic. The room was spotlessly clean with all amenities that one expects from a 5 star hotel (I know you listed it as a 4 star). The breakfasts were also great with such a variety to choose from. I would stay at this hotel again if I were to return. The staff were very courteous and most helpful.

Our trip to the Jade Factory was also great and only wished we could come back to have another look at all the beautiful pieces on display.

As you can see from the above we could not wish for more as everything you arranged for us was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend you to everyone who would like to visit China to make their booking through you, because your company made our holiday such a memorable stay in Beijing.

My special compliments to Linda and the driver who were absolutely marvellous and a pleasure to be with each day of our stay in Beijing. Actually we felt quite sad when we had to leave Beijing as we would loved to have stayed longer. Hopefully we may return one day.
