Dear Abbey and Wendy,
Pat and I were very pleased with all aspects of our visit, especially when compared to out later one to Tibet and Nepal with another company. Our guide, Julia was very professional, spoke excellent English and was most attentive to our needs. She seemed to enjoy showing us the sights, and we appreciated her knowledge and enthusiasm in explaining what we were seeing.
The hotel in Xian was very good, especially the location in old town, which afforded us the opportunity to walk around the city. We appreciated Julia's flexibility in letting us ride bicycles around the city wall before going to the Chinese opera. It had been a very full day, and I know that she must have been tired.
We really enjoyed the opera, and our driver was right there to pick us up afterwards.
Every aspect of our tour was meticulously planned and executed with appropriate attention to out particular needs (like taking a tripod into the enclosure covering the Terra Cotta warriors. Pat got some excellent pictures).
We would certainly consider using your agency for future trips to China, and would highly recommend your services to other travelers.
Rick Jacobs

Hi Carol,
Thank you for all your help with our vacation - everything went so well and we have only good memories of TCG!
Meals were generally all very good with a wide choice. The a la carte lunch in Beijing garden restaurant was particularly lovely and far far too much food! The Dumpling Banquet in Xi'an was a very enjoyable experience and tasty although our booking was changed from 7pm to 5pm and we weren't very hungry that early. Buffet lunch in hotel on first day in Shanghai was very good with a wide choice. Peking duck in Beijing (recommended by Doreena) was tasty.
Our guides were all very knowledgeable and friendly. The cars were clean and although we could not speak to the drivers because of the language difference they appeared very courteous, especially driver in Beijing - always made an effort to open the door for me.
Hotels were all fine. Beijing was particularly nice with the best breakfast. Service and hygiene was fine - nice to have dressing gowns, slippers etc in each.
Rebecca (Shanghai) was great, Julia (Xi'an) was very professional and Doreena (Beijing) was exceptional, we would consider her a friend by the end of the tour. We have recommended her and your company generally to family who may be visiting China in the future.
Thank you.
Jonathan
