enjoyed the food in China very much. We do not have too much Chinese food to eat in US. And they are always Cantonese meals which are sweet. It is great to taste many different flavors in China, such as spicy food. If there are a la carte meals, it is better to have a menu which is divided according to different flavors, such as the first part is sweet food, the second part is spicy food. So people can choose according to their different taste. If there are set-menu meals, it is great to have some choices too. For example, this set menu has chicken and that set menu has beef. So people can choose. And it is still set menu.

Chinese cuisine is famous world wide, so i suggest you leave some dinners on your own to try the authentic local food. In Kunming, our guide recommended the local food "over the bridge noodles" which tasted really different. We also tried the hot-pot in Chongqing and Sichuan cuisine in Xian. I like the Kongbao Chicken most. In Beijing, we tried the local snacks on the wangfujing street guided by our guide. I felt in love with Chinese food completely at that moment. BTW, I do suggest let your guide accompany with you and they can give you good recommendations and ensure the hygiene.
