Hi, if you book when you arrive, most hotels especially in some hot cities might be fully booked. Thus, it is better for you to book the room in advance by submitting the online booking directly.

As the Chinese Spring Festival holiday (Feb 13 to 19) is drawing near, the hotels in famous tourist cities such as Haikou, Guilin and Sanya have raised the room tariff greatly since there will be numerous tourists rush into there to spend the holiday. Especially, the room rate of the star-rated hotels in Sanya has been increased at least 3 times.

As for the 5 star-rated hotels in Sanya, the average room rate during the Spring Festival holiday exceeds CNY4,000 per night per room, a raise of 244% compared with that in January. And the highest room rate even reaches more than CNY20,000 per night per room. The average room rate of 4 star-rated hotels during the festival in Sanya has been increased by 279%.

By contrast, the hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are now planning and carrying out advertising and promotion resources. It is predictable that there will be a decline in the occupancy rate because of the business stopover during the holiday.

About the air routes, you can consult some local booking agencies in Hyderabad, since there you could get more favorable ticket price. From Guangzhou to Beijing, there are several trains to Beijing West Railway Station. It takes about 21 hours and cost around CNY450 for one hard berth. Thus, you can consider taking flight. For the hotels, you can choose on the page below directly:
