Beijing City Central Youth Hostel is a member of Hostelling International and it is the largest and highest standard hostel in Beijing. The hotel is opened in 2004. There are 223 guest rooms/suites in total. The hotel is 6-story high and mainly divided into three districts: characteristic service district (1-3 F),Youth hostel district (3-4F),Youth hotel district (5-6F). On the first and second floors, you'll find a 24-hour supermarket, breakfast bar, coffee lounge, ATM, IC/IP phones, express film processing, and a post office. On the third floor, you could find an internet bar, a video room, a reading room, billiard tables and a travel advice centre. The hostel also adjoins the central business districts of Dong Dan and Wangfujing, where you can find every imaginable eatery, from exquisite Cantonese restaurants to simple street stalls.

I had no problem in communicating with the staff members in English though they were not fluent. I only had minor problem in locating good Chinese restaurant nearby with English knowing staff. We have just checked into Beijing City Central Youth Hostel. This is the last leg of our tour of China and we love China very much. We would definitely want to visit this beautiful country again and would certainly use TCG for our future visits.

Beijing City Central Youth Hostel:-
Very clean and spacious room (We upgraded to standard double room with window and paid a difference of RMB30/- per night). So far, we like this hotel, it gives us a home environment. Easy Access by bus No. 673 from the Beijing West Railway Station. It's just a doorstep from the Underground station. Great place to stay especially with the free internet with high speed use.
Great Location for transportation to all parts of the city.
