Excellent location with easy access to tourist locations in the area. Room facilities are somewhat dated and need to be updated, particularly the bath and shower; however, room was very clean. Fair value for money paid.

Very good location, rooms big and acceptable, but a little “worn”. Both ventilation and toilet broke down, but we were given another (and bigger) suite. Had only breakfast, not special, but good enough. Room attendants very friendly, reception staff efficient, but so unsmiling! My overall rating would be 7 out of 10. TCG booking Center: Excellent. PS: We shall contact you the next time we go to China!

I was shocked at the condition of the room we stayed in. It smelled, carpet dirty, bathtub too disgusting to use. The price was ok, but all I really ever want is a clean, functional room.

We stayed in Xian and at this hotel 10/15-19, 2010. The location is by far the best in the city because it is located in the middle of the city and the view of the Bell Tower was amazing. The rates are by far much lower than larger cities and for the quality of the hotel, location and size of the room you cannot beat the value. The staff was cordial enough and exchanging money or asking for directions was a non-issue (although they appear to be not the most friendly, they are actually quite friendly). One note of caution was our leaky mini-fridge which left the carpeting near it wet. Not a big issue but just something to point out. The hotel is quite modern, safe and in good condition and the western style restaurant is nice enough and with good food variety but we ate out most of the time. There is a convenient travel agency on the 2nd floor which we used and it turned out to be quite useful and stress free. I would highly recommend this hotel to any new visitor to Xian who is looking to be centrally located.

I am very glad that you have asked these questions. We were very pleased with the hotel and especially with the location. Our only problem was that we were on a non smoking floor and still there was a lot of smoke in the passage and close to our room but apart from this the hotel staff was very helpful and would definitely recommend the hotel.
