Century Plaza Hotel, Shenzhen, opened in 1988, was redecorated in 2006. The hotel, which is adjacent to Shenzhen Railway Station and Luohu Port, conveniently located in the bustling commercial and shopping area. In the hotel, there are elegant guest rooms, deluxe room and suites, executive deluxe room as well as presidential suites, totaling 401 rooms. The executive deluxe rooms, located on the 12th floor, are furnished with facsimile machine and Zenith Stereo Video Recorder. The Business Centre provides all kinds of business service for the administrative floor guests. The hotel has many grand ballrooms and multifunctional modern international conference halls that can accommodate up to 200 people to have meals or meetings. I arrived late & my wife had already been there we were too meet, the hotel room was available too her & she posted a deposit too get into the room, no problem, except my plan for personal reasons was too pay with a Charge Card vs a Bank Card. I arrived at the front desk after 16 hrs on a plane & was told they would not reverse the bank charge, they could not, which is a flat out lie! They just did not want too because it details more work, the woman at the front desk was rather loud & direct verbal AT me which after such a long flight i did not want too her from her mouth. In turn I was able too get it the way i expected once they held my charge card. Bottom line is it is a nice hotel, area a little seedy at night, but near the HK train & Local train, rate it 3 1/2 of 5 because of the staff mouth & local dislike of the area, but the room & hotel was great, i did not use any of the places too eat, gym or pool, it all was there if needed.

I have stayed in this hotel on 2 different occasions and hoping to for a third time soon. The room was nice, comfortable, and cleaned daily in a timely manner. The buffet breakfast that is served daily, on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9. I feel it is excellent. Staff is polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
