Hotel room was very nice. Staff spoke no English at all, but we had friends who helped us communicate. Although the room was generally good standard (except for the stained carpet), however, it was stocked with lots of products for sale, which required a lengthy inspection when we checked out (other hotels did the room check within a minute or so).

As we were trying to check out, there was an unpleasant misunderstanding about our "room check" - we were accused of taking a kit which had not been in the room at all. So this discussion caused us a 45-minute delay. Fortunately we had allowed adequate time to get to the airport.

TCG Booking Service: Very good.

I'll try to give you a fair description of the hotels in mention.
As for the service of TCG I'll give no comment. Please visit your own main hotels-homepage ;0) ...TCG is TCG...the best.

Changchun Paradise Hotel / Yuefu Dajiudian
(From airport by taxi; 80 to 100 RMB is reasonable.)

Hao! :0) Very good, indeed.
Located just across the Renmin Dajie ( Peoples Street ) from the Victory Park of Changchun, this hotel is "where to be". Mid city center. All you'll ever need, regarding shopping / restaurants /access to leisure spots like the "South Lake Park". (Use a day there, relax, have fun ;0).

Starts morning 04.00 outside Victory Park. 06.00 and for an hour there are traditional dance and drums playing in the area; Mornings are early in Changchun :0)
So much for location.

Then for what I care much, breakfast! :0) (A double "Hao" if possible! )
The buffet breakfast of the Paradise Hotel is outstanding! I doubt you can find any hotel that can match it. Chinese and western style combined in beautiful surroundings.
Food quality and restaurant staff; ...another "Hao x 2"... :0)

Rooms/Staff/service:
Rooms are renovated since my last stay in early spring 2007.
Design is good as there is a more relaxing feeling now.
(Can you understand if I say it is a bit like a home, as well as some place you'd want to be your home. These people are very good on design :0))

Staff: Invisible, yet always there if you need them... ...The good Fairies of Yuefu :0)

Desk staff: Professional, very good.
Sorry, no complaints :0) I recommend you go to Changchun to look for yourself ;0)
