This hotel is located beside the Big Goose Pagoda and close to the Tang Paradise and History Museum. The decoration in the room is Tang-style, which is very unique and classical. The hotel staff offers great service and the nearby restaurants are also very particular and convenient.
Unfortunately, the hotel room is not very quiet since there are lots of people at the Big Goose Pagoda square, especially in the break time at noon. Breakfast is Chinese style but good. We booked on this webpage, and get a quick confirmation. TravelChinaGuide really did an excellent job.

Hotel is close to big musical fountain so expect to be able to hear that music at night. I had booked a view room but they gave me a standard at first but moved me to a room with a garden view the next day when I asked them to. The location is good for the fountain and Big Goose Pagoda but far from the city wall, 5km away. Next time I would stay close to the Wall and the inner city. There are food stalls under the hotel and a KFC 150mts away for comfort food! Convenience store 100 mts away. ATMs 50mts away. Taxis can only get to within 50 mts of lobby entrance so have an umbrella handy if it is raining! I got soaked !
Manager has good English but other staff struggle a bit, but are friendly . No taxi driver I met speaks any English so be ready with written Chinese directions. Bathroom developed a bad smell overnight from drains due to exhaust fan only working for 10 minutes on a timer. Bed standard Chinese hard mattres. Good free Internet access in Business Centre. Buffet breakfast was Chinese food only when I looked in. Opted for nearby KFC bacon and egg burger and good coffee, 6rmb. Watch the morning exercise ladies in the KFC forecourt as you have coffee.

Excellent value for money. Great position. Easy access to all parts of the city by bus, they even supply you with an English language map with bus routes and bus numbers. We even went to the Terracotta Warriors by public bus. Great service by the Front Desk Supervisor Cui Yu Jing who speaks and writes excellent English and knows how to get virtually anywhere in the city. A note to the Hotel Manager: If you want to attract more Western Tourists you need more than one person who speaks English. More Western breakfast please.
