Regarding the City Garden Hotel itself, I have no criticism. The hotel is in a good location close to an MTR station and the trams, and with a good range of shops etc. closes by. The room and the hotel facilities (restaurant, business centre etc.) are all very good, and the hotel staffs were all friendly, helpful and efficient.
However, the City Garden Hotel (like it seems all hotels in Hong Kong) is very expensive. The hotel is of no higher standard than some of the hotels where I stayed in China, but is at least twice as expensive. The City Garden Hotel's prices are really on the limit of what I would consider paying for a hotel anywhere, even for a hotel of the City Garden Hotel's high standard.

Yes, using your center to place booking is a lot easier and cheaper. The bedroom was compact in size but spotless and tidy. Bathroom is a little bit small but functional. Toiletries and other facilities were top brand.
Breakfast is good enough; we ate our breakfasts only in the hotel. The location is okay, close to the tram stop in King? road and only 10 minutes?slow walk to the MTR. Next time if I am visiting HK again I will definitely stay in this hotel.
