2. Yes, the Scitech Hotel, Beijing was excellent - and I will definitely stay there again. My only concern was that the Internet Service provided by the hotel was very poor compared to other Beijing hotels. The rooms only had connections via the internal telephone which meant that you could only use your laptop computer on the bedside table by disconnecting the room telephone. This was very unsatisfactory. Plus - the actual internet service was very slow and not as good as other Beijing hotels. The Scitech is an excellent hotel - but its internet access is very poor.

The service and room standards at the hotel were excellent. I would recommend the hotel in particular for its extremely friendly staff ?especially at the lobby. They went out of their way to help me and my wife. Their command of English was excellent and they spoke fluently in English.
