The booking service was good and we had no problems with the reservations.

Shatan Hotel - Excellent location and one room very good. The other OK except for smelly drains in bathroom. Staff very helpful and breakfast excellent. Taxis arranged efficiently. Good internet and table tennis rooms.

It is hard to believe that it has been a month since we were in your amazing country. All of our experiences left favorable impressions to last a lifetime. I am very interested in history so your country certainly has everything for me.

Shatan Hotel
These accommodations were very clean. We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very accommodating. The main advantage for this hotel is the proximity to the Forbidden City and the attractions that surround this fascinating Palace. We did a lot of walking around these areas. We normally had the breakfast buffet each morning here and the variety of selection gave us a good start to our days.

Respecting the booking services offered by TCG, we want to thank you for taking care of the important aspects of travel and accommodations during our tour. We would recommend that anyone should utilize the TCG for their Chinese travel plans. I would remind you to check the train schedule again as this information is also important when we are making plans.

Beijing Shatan hotel is fantastic. It is so close to Jingshan Park, which is a starting point in the journey to Beihai, Forbidden City and Tiananmen. The rooms are great for the price and the service is flawless.

TCG is very good. I have no complaints, and will always use TCG to book hotels.

Although our plans changed and we needed reservations to be adjusted a few times, TCG handled everything extremely efficiently. We loved the vouchers with maps and addresses in Chinese that you provide - there was no problem getting to the hotels. Our trip went very smoothly thanks to your services. Beijing Shatan Hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff helpful and efficient. It is conveniently located near the Art Museum and parks north of the Forbidden City, but for shopping and dining one might prefer a location closer to the Tiananmen Square. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks again for your help.

Hotel was just fine; good location relative to gugong, tian an men, etc. I took my Chinese girl friend with me; it was helpful to have a native mandarin speaker, as English skills of hotel staff were very limited. Room was fine. Hotel was nice, clean, etc. Only down point was that a couple items of little value disappeared from our unlocked and damaged-in-transit suitcase; we know these items were there because we inventoried what was present and lost when the luggage arrived, as the bag had been damaged in airline transit; teach you to lock your bags in the hotel room, I guess. Booking service worked as advertised; bill to Visa accurate from hotel. We stayed one day less than originally planned, and hotel refunded our money for that day. I would use your service again, and would probably stay in that hotel again as well, despite issue above, as it is conveniently located relative to cultural sites in Beijing, and staff in general was helpful, some extremely so (but it helped to have a native Chinese speaker).

I am really satisfided with the service I received in my recent travel to China.

Both Hotels Shatan gave me a good service. I was better at the shatan hotel because the service was better and the internet service it was not so expensive like the yongan hotel. My only suggest to the shatan hotel it is to change the carpet on the floor it is really old.

Shatan is centrally located in walking distance from the Forbidden city and 2 nice parks. It is not a fashionable area but in a pretty 'authentic' Beijing location. Staff is friendly and helpful. The actual hotel is nothing special and cleaning could be a bit better - but ok, it is a 3*** hotel so what can you expect.
