The hotels are ok, but the reception-girls, know very little English or other western languages, so it was very difficult to communicate. Also there was no town maps I could understand. Also I could not connect my notebook, when there was Cibercafes, at the Modem of the hotel it worked.

The booking service was good and we had no problems with the reservations except in two cases the extra bed had not been put in and we had to get the reception to organize it after we arrived.

City Hotel, Xi'an - rooms were basic though OK but carpets very dirty and lights fused, though fixed by staff quite quickly. Heating was OK and reception organized our extra bed straight away. Breakfast excellent buffet. The location was central but reception were unable to phone for a taxi to the railway station. Eventually the bell boy found someone with a big car who took us part way for high cost and made us walk the rest with all our luggage.

Hotel location was great, but the rooms were below standard compared to other 3 star hotels in China.

The location of the hotel was wonderful. The price was very good.... overall, it was a very good value. The room itself was a bit "run down", but for only one or two nights, it was fine for me.

My wife and I stayed at City Hotel, Xian. It was a good experience. The location was perfect, in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk for shopping and attractions like Bell and Drum Tower. I felt your 3 star rating and description were also accurate.

Secondly, your information was up-to-date. This I liked very much.

I made a reservation through you in Xian. This was a very good hotel with a great location and a great staff. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. Xian was probably our favorite city we visited and this hotel made the visit even more enjoyable. Also there was a 24 hour mini-market right outside the hotel so it was very convenient to get snacks or water whenever we needed it.

1. The City Hotel is located in the center of Xi'an, a short distance on foot from all the interesting points of interest inside the city walls. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast sufficient, and the personnel very, very friendly and helpful.

2. We were very happy with the TCG booking service. We found it easy to use, and oh surprise, when we arrived in Xi'an, our reservation was on record and our room waiting for us. This is not always the case in China. So, excellent reservation service!

To sum it up, we were very satisfied and happy with the service TCG provided and with the hotel recommended by you. We have recommended both to our friends here in Nanjing, and will certainly keep your services in mind for future vacations.

hotel was in great location. met a ...

hotel was in great location. met a taxi driver downstairs from hotel and ended up having his son drive us to terra cotta and all the attractions and back to airport. would def stay here if I come back.
