We stayed in the WONDERFUL Xian ...

We stayed in the WONDERFUL Xian Garden Hotel for three nights and could not be happier. This was the best of 4 hotels that we stayed in with our travel through China.

The beds are the softest and largest, the rooms and courtyard are beautiful, and the staff is so kind and helpful.

The Garden hotel we found to be most enjoyable in so far as the ambience of the hotel surroundings was excellent, our room was most comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful to us on more than one occasion.

Thanks so much. All your services you Company gave us were wonderfull. Our reservations were perfect at the Hotel and at the Airline. Thanks also for guiding us in not taking the train to Beijing, we did saw that would be a big problem due to the festivities in China.

The Garden Hotel is beautifull. The rooms are clean. The variety of food is good. The Hotel service was great. I was sick and they made it possible for me to see a doctor at the Hospital which really was very helpfull. Specially the Concierges are very nice, they speak very good English and they always try to do the most to help you.

It is only a shame that the Hotel does not have any other tours but the one to the Terracota Warriors...

Firstly I am very satisfied with the service I got from TCG. I made a reservation by internet and this was succesfull. On behalf of the hotel The Garden Hotel in Xian: it was allright. The service was generally okay. The disadvantage of this hotel is that it is situated outside the walls of Xian. The room was okay, clean,
big enough, and there was also a helpful staff. The businesscenter was less: using internet was quite expensive and the computers were very slow. The staff there was also less friendly. I f you are a traveler looking for something beside just glass and steel, this is the place. Great location, with very good service, many english speaking employees. I spent two weeks at this hotel, it was a great place to rest between site seeing trips--and great site seeing within walking distance. next trip i will be back.

We enjoyed the hotel very much. It was clean, easy to get to and quite at night to make for peaceful sleeping. The garden in the middle of the hotel was excellent we enjoyed coffee there in the morning and drinks at night. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. If we go back to Xian we will stay at the Garden hotel again. The service at TCG is also very good, we will continue to use your service as we travel around China over the next couple of years.

Excellent service and it was very easy to change the reservation and the hotel had it when I got there.

The staff was friendly, but sometimes could not understand what I was saying. It was very easy to book a tour from the hotel to see the Terra Cotta Warriors. The room is equivalent to staying at a Comfort Inn in the US, but with the additional perk of have a beautiful garden in the courtyard with some very friendly ducks. It's a little removed from downtown so you have to take a taxi into town if you want to see the cites there.

The hotel in Xian - The Garden Hotel -was a real treat. It wasn't as expensive so we stayed in two rooms. The hotel is outside the city center but given the traffic we found it a lovely oasis. It is near the Large Goose Pagoda. The hotel was clean, efficiently run, and pretty. We were able to see fireworks at night from the neighboring theater quarter (a new park for theater). We rented a cab to take us to see the Terracotta soldiers and didn't bother with a tour or an English guide. We don't speak Chinese but we can read some of the characters so we got around easily. Everywhere we went everything was clean and the people were friendly. There were a lot of Chinese tourists. Both these hotels were three star (Tian Lun Songhe was two in some places). I don't really know how the hotels are graded but they were certainly better than the Pennsylvania Hotel in New York (for example). I would recommend them highly to anyone travelling with a family for sightseeing. Thanks again! We had a wonderful trip. The Great Wall at Simatai was incredible. The only unpleasant surprise for us was the amount of auto traffic.
