Concerning the quality of the Hotel, What I can say, that the room is clean, the position of the Hotel is very good (centre of lot of attractions) but there is many noises and it was difficult for me to sleep.

1. My stay at the hotel was good. The location of the Hotel was excellent. It was very near to all major attractions. However, some of the guests were noisy. The staff were nice and friendly and helped me book an Acrobatic show.

2. My booking experience with TCG was excellent. There were no problems checking in. Service was very prompt at TCG.

Dear Lena,
We stayed at Wan Cheng Hua Fu International Hotel, Beijing for 2 nights.

We found the rooms big enough. We booked 2 rooms 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds for my kids. The toilet cum shower with the double bed was extremely small, but the reception were very nice and exchanged it for a room with 2 beds. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel was centrally located just next to the food stalls.

We found travelchinaguide very helpful. We have used them twice and will use them again as we pass Beijing every 6 months.

Thank you for getting feedback from me.

1. Wan Cheng Hua Fu International Hotel, Beijing is in a very convenient location near Wan Fu Jing and I like that. However, the hotel facility and rooms are quite old. The toilet door in the hotel room cannot be closed and locked properly. There is no wardrobe in the hotel room. I am actually quite shocked that they wanted me to pay for a very old hand towel which I do not know why it is stained with color. I managed to talk to the hotel manager and he is kind enough to waive this payment for the old towel.

2. I find the booking experience good. The response from the booking center is clear and timely. I am impressed!

Really like the location of this ...

Really like the location of this hotel - very convenient. Had a small, cramped room on the lobby floor and it was a very basic room and the bathroom flooded during a shower. Very noisy day and night. I asked for a change but the place was fully booked.

This hotel was terrible. I would definitely not recommend it. I only ended up staying there for one night. The room was dirty. I don't think the carpet had ever been vacumed. The drain in the shower was blocked which meant that the floor of the bathroom was wet all the time. I had to request the internet connection get fixed three times before it actually was. The room also had no windows and was over priced. I also feel that it was advertised falsely on the internet. The staff were not very helpful when my Chinese friend called them either.

Considering the security of the guests, the hotel staff can not enter the guestrooms without the permission of the guests, therefore, the staff has no knowledge of the problems of the guestrooms. However, if the guest informs the hotel staff about the problems of the guestrooms, the hotel will solve the problem quickly and even arrange another room for guests. The hotel staff are really sorry for their incompetence.

We were informed by the hotel that you stayed in the Room 2044 (Standard Room). The room does have a small window. However, since it has a poor size and faces the corridor, the window does permit less light and air to enter. The hotel is really sorry for it. Besides, we will revise the hotel information in our website to provide a better guide for the guests.

Besides, the hotel management has paid attention to your kind and precious comments. They will improve the hotel management in every aspect. If they have the chance to welcome you as their guest next time, they will provide free promotion to you to offset this incompetence.

Thanks for the e-mail, asking me about my opinion during my stay in wan cheng hua fu.

well, overall my opinion is :

1. the facility is still okay based on hotel price.
2. staff service is good
3. location is excellent, i like to stay here because it is near the wang fu jing area, and close to the tiananmen square.

Regarding the booking through TCG, i think it is very good to book through TCG. I have some reasons for these;

1. I think it is safer to book through such company like TCG.
2. TCG helps me a lot in guiding and solving my accomodation problems in china.

For better service in the future, i suggest The TCG put more hotels at more provinces in china and macau as well as hongkong in your TCG list.

Any way that's my opinion regarding TCG, overall, I myself fell very satisfied with TCG.

The room we had was very dirty (carpet & wallpaper). While using the shower, the bathroom was totally overflooded. The room had no window and was very loud during the whole night. Next morning I want to change the room, but the clerk was unable or unwilling to give us an other room - therfore we checked out at once. The room needs a complete renovation - in conderation of the coming Olympic Games!!Best regard, M. Kimmel

My recent trip to Beijing is my very first one to China. I had to admit that prior to this trip, my knowledge of China is extremely minimal. But thanks to the information and details posted on the TravelChinaGuide (TCG) website, I am able to move around Beijing on my own at ease. They not only offer a full list of hotels available, but also provide detailed description on all the places of interest, as well as show me the bus number to get to these destinations.

TravelChinaGuide (TCG) booking service is great! The staff are helpful and prompt in their response. I made my hotel reservations at the very last minute. Yet they are still able to successfully confirm a room for me at Wan Cheng Hua Fu International Hotel, Beijing. I am also satisfied with the location and facilities of the hotel. It is situated near to Wan Fu Jing area, thus I had easy access to a wide selection of foods, shops and malls. The hotel staff are also friendly and rendered good service.

I will definitely use TravelChinaGuide (TCG) booking service again if I have another opportunity to visit China.
