Hi,

Though located in a side street, it was still a very good location. At breakfast we could look at the local people outside on the streets carry on their daily routines which gave us a better look and feel of regular people rather than a well presented made up appearance for tourists.

Extremely nice and helpful hotel staff. They sent their staff with me to locate a China Unicom outlet for my prepay sim recharge.

Room was adequate and the service was good. We would strongly recommend this hotel to others. The Chinese breakfast at 10 yuan was a very good bargain. Being coffee drinkers, we were disappointed there was no coffee available at the hotel but there is a MacDonalds within a 5 minute walk where we could get coffee. The Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Xian Wall are all close within walking distance as are shopping complexes. Overall a very good experience for us staying here.

The booking service was excellent with very quick turnaround of responses. Though an error had been made, the efforts taken to redress our grievances is much appreciated.

We love China very much. We would definitely want to visit this beautiful country again and would certainly use TCG for our future visits.

As for our comments on the hotels that we have booked with you, we are pleased to furnish our frank and honest opinions:-

Super 8 Hotel in Xian:-

Reasonably clean rooms though very small but for the budget price, it's acceptable. There were defects in the room that was given to us on the first day of arrival. The bathroom was flooded when we take our shower and the carpet at the bathroom entrance was soaking wet when we checked in. They could not change for us because they were fully booked. But they managed to get us another room the next day.

Despite of the above, the front desk staff are very accommodating and did their best to make our stay a pleasant one.

The hotel is located in a small alley off the main road but it's only a short walk to the bus stops where you can take a bus to the rest of the city areas and there are many shopping malls around. Sightseeing includes the Muslim Food Street, the Bell and Drum Towers. So, it's in a convenient location.

The only setback is the extremely slow internet speed which can put anyone off.

Overall, it's a good budget hotel.

-I travel all around China for 3 weeks and yr hotel was the best and clean one with good price.

Travelchinaguide was very helpful and responded immediately after I made a late booking. I was assisted over the phone by a real person and with great care.

The hotel proved easy to find, and of good quality. Rooms were clean and spacious, staff helpful and the hotel had all the basic facilities needed.

We got a substantial rebate out of booking online and that made our stay really cheap. I'll recommend it to anyone. Even my Chinese friends asked me the website address!!!

We stayed at Xidajie Super 8 for 5 ...

We stayed at Xidajie Super 8 for 5 days and had a very good stay. The rooms are good value - clean and comfortable; the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the city centre, and close to transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

As for TCG booking service - it was an excellent service thank you. I had 2 telephone calls - very efficient, and also a followup to make sure all OK. Really great thank you, and we will definitely use TCG when in China next.

I stayed at Xidajie Super 8 hotel recently. Hotel was remodeled this year. Room looks quite new and nice. Bed was soft and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Also, the hotel was just located in the center center, with the walking distance to famous bell tower and Muslim quarter. The room price was rather low as well. I definitely come back again. Also, I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. Thank you for your good service.
