1. Dongdan Yindi Hotel, Beijing:

The facility was OK for the price. Except that occasionally during the night the central air condition was turned off. Initially I thought it was a fault so I complained at the front desk, but later I realized it was consistent.

The location and surrounding was also good, it was close to subway, banks, restaurants, and shops. For about 10 Rmb I could get a taxi to some of the big shopping malls and it was also not very far from the Forbidden City and the Olympic Stadium.

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Doris at the front desk. She could express herself in English, and provided very useful information about the city, and where to find things in general.

2. TCG booking service: The booking with TCG was very well handled, prompt response, and efficient arrangement made by TCG at the hotel as a result of my late arrival was very recommendable.

I will really recommend TCG to all my friends who are planning to visit China.

Thank you for asking our comments on the hotels during ours China's trip.

Dongdan Yindi Hotel, Beijing: it was a quite old hotel but clean ad the staff pretty good; all of them are smiling and friendly: even if they didn't know enough English, they did all for given us useful information. Location was really near the metro station: we had no problem to reach every site in Beijing, as Forbidden City or Summer Palace. Unfortunately facilities didn't work because too old and there wasn't a hairdryer in the bathroom. Luckily the staff gave us one for all ours stay. I would recommend this hotel to everyone like to visit Beijing: is surrounded by restaurants and shops open till late and is totally sure walking along the way in the night.

Finally, we would like to send to TCG a big THANK YOU for helping us in finding hotels that made our stay comfortable.

i am really happy and satisfied ...

I am really happy and satisfied with TCG as the booking went on really smoothly with very prompt replies to all my queries. I will most certainly use their services in the future.

I would NOT recommend the hotel to foreigners visiting the hotel. They do not even supply drinkin water to the rooms. This is basic hospitality and the hotel really needs to do something about this. The water outlet in the bath kept getting clogged and it was very unpleasant every morning for us to do something about it. The room is very very small and qute unlike any of the pictures. Wifi is also not available most of the time. The location is excellent though. I would really not have chosen this hotel had i known it would be this bad. I really did not expect this from a three star hotel. The staff however are very courteous and have a passable knowledge of english.

Thank you for asking for my comments about our stay at the hotels we booked through your site.

Dongdan Yindi Hotel, Beijing - This hotel was clean and handy to rail and shopping. However, we have concerns about the Business Centre in this hotel. It was through the Business Centre that we arranged for transport to Beijing International Airport Terminal 3. As there were 4 of us, we wanted to travel in the same vehicle, and the Business Centre arranged a van for us, for 220 RMB. When we got our luggage from the vehicle at Beijing Airport, the vehicle was boarded by Transport Police. The Police also interviewed us and videotaped us, and asked who had arranged the transport. I was able to show them the receipt provided by the hotel, which was also videotaped. The police informed us that this was a rogue driver, and that we had been grossly overcharged. They said the fare should have been no more than 70 RMB.
It was a very traumatic end to our holiday. We had trusted the hotel and felt that they had let us down.
There was no breakfast available at this hotel. We were directed to a diner across the street which we chose not to eat in, and went to KFC.
As a result I cannot recommend this hotel.
