We were disappointed with the hotel. Location was very poor. Located in the back of the exposition center. Absolutely no restaurants, stores or anything interesting nearby. Need to take taxi to get anywhere and only private drivers waiting outside where you have to negotiate the price. The subway and train station is farther than stated, takes at least 20 minutes. Room smelled and was gloomy.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Lujiazui Century Hotel. They offered free umbrellas and had golf wagons to drive the guests to the exhibition. I also enjoyed the Business Centre and the excellent serving staff in the restaurant. The food could be improved a bit.

The Lujiazui hotel was within walkingdistance from a metrostation, and due to nothing happening at the international exposition center, very calm (hence the much discounted price). Excellent businessroom. Traditional, one needs the key in the room to start electricity and airconditioner, but when I came back to the room after my day out, hotelstaff had allready activated the airco by central infrastructure. Very pleasent surprice.

TCG service was very helpful. Lujiazui hotel was good - service, restaurant, front
desk, room service & the rooms. I would stay there again if I am in Shnaghai for an EXPO. It would be helpful if they have a staff memeber who can communicate in English all throughout the day.

My stay in Shanghai had been great. The rate offered is fair and the rooms are clean. Further more, the booking process is hassle free. Will definitely book on line with TCG again for my future trip. My only feedback is TCG should ensure that your partners hotel should have adequate tourist map issued by China Tourism Board. I had to pay RMB5 for a Shanghai tourist guide which is offered free at my second hotel in downtown Shanghai. First time travelers to your beautiful country will need these guides to look for the famous attraction in town. Overall, the experiences and services are great.

I am satisfied with your booking center response & service.

Staff at Lizuijui century hotel is not well versed in English and also there was no room service after nine pm. The food variety are suited to local people only.

The location is best if you're attending an exhibition but it is far to the shopping area.

I am more than satisfied with the services of TravelChinaGuide. The hotel reservation made was perfect to my preference. And the articles and practical guide on Shanghai plus the maps definitely helped me a lot since me and my companion, both first timers, toured on our own after the WoodMac China exhibition.

2. Lujiazui Century Hotel was perfect in terms of location as our main objective in travelling to Pudong was to attend the WoodMac China exhibition at the New Shanghai International Exposition Center. The facilities are great as well as the food at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. Staff service was great except that their facility of English was very limited or none at all even at the front desk which is quite difficult for foreign guests like us especially when we need to ask for directions and other inquiries. Worst, the hotel doesn’t have a complimentary English map! I would suggest that the hotel management seriously consider these concerns since the hotel expects for lots of foreign guests since it’s the most accessible accommodation to the exposition center. But other than these, the hotel is great. It’s near the Metro Rail System which one can take to go to the various scenic spots of Shanghai. Walking distance too to the Metro membership shopping that allows foreign visitors to register and shop as one-time members. I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends as well as the use of TravelChinaGuide for booking requirements. Kudos to TravelChinaGuide!

Very new and very clean overall facility. Staff service is good and many can speak English. The food is also good. Location is quite far from Subway, but good if you are attending Expo as it is right beside the expo complex. Overall and except for location, Lujiazui Century Hotel is very good.
