Crowne Plaza Hotel may be the best hotel of Jinan, but my stay at the hotel was not as wonderful as the other five-star hotels. The hotel has a wonderful location, near the commercial center and it was rather convenient for shopping. The exterior of the hotel looks magnificent and beautiful, but the interior facilities are dated and needs renovation. The service was not very considerate since they had arranged a smoking room for me. However, the staff was rather responsive and changed me into a non-smoking room instead finally.
The room had a good size, but the layout of the room was not excellent. The curtain was fine to conceal the light and you can have a good sleep even in daytime. The television was poor in size which was not in accordance with a five-star hotel. Besides, I stayed at the hotel in early spring. The air-conditioner did not work well and the room was a little cold. I really enjoyed the cafeteria even though the price was a little high.
Thank you for concerning my stay at the hotel and I really appreciate your excellent service.

Thanks for a wonderful stay while adopting out daughter in Jinan in 2006. Mickey Zhou and her wonderful staff in the restaurant made extra efforts to help our family of four feel at home, even though one of us spoke no English and the other three spoke no Chinese. Happy New Year on 7 February! Alan
