I traveled to China in Jan 2008, stayed in this hotel: Our China agent reserved a non-smoking business room for me, when I checked in, I was put into a smoking room without notice, when I called the front desk, I was told they don't have a non-smoking room available, and I was downgraded to a standard (lower-level) room, this is the first time I heard when a reserved hotel room is not available, a guest will be downgrade. This hotel has also a very bad housekeeping, I threw my used pajama on the bathroom floor; they just moved this used one to my bed for me, instead of changing a new one. I should say that it was memorable one in my life for this trip in China. China was so huge and charming and one could not get around of it in a year. As the Crowne Plaza in Zhengzhou, I suppose it was one of the best luxury five star hotels in Zhengzhou. The hotel offered very good service, room was spotless and spacious, and hotel staffs were very courteous and can speak English very well. There was no problem for the communication. The girls at the reception could not do better for us, very patience and kind directing us the place to visit. I appreciated it very much. The hotel is very good, both the room facilities and the hotel itself are very modern.
