I looked for a cheap hotel in downtown and found Hong Fu trade hotel on internet.
Hotel is acceptable if price is compared with other hotels. No IDD call was posible, must go out to a small so internet was possible. No beauty salon in hotel. All others is very poor. Nevertheless, for stay for one or two nights it's o.k.

This was an excellent hotel in the center of Dalian.. What a price too! Good service, good food and room. Book through reputable sites like travelchinaguide.com and once there, reject any 3rd party agents who seem to be wandering the hall, trying to get you a "better" room and "lower" price. Forget it, this is a great deal as is. No regrets.

I came to Dalian by train and left by plane. Transportation between the hotel and the airport, the train station is very convenient. I enjoyed this advantage of the hotel. The hotel room is not spacious but very clean and comfortable, the facilities in the room are not modern but all work very well. Also the hotel staffs are very helpful and kind. I would like to stay n this hotel again.
