The hotel is definitely better than the 4 star rating, very clean and the staff service are excellent.

So far, our experience with TCG is very good. They reply in a short time and always try to accommodate us. Datong hotel is a good one. Staff doesn’t speak English but they try to understand what we say. The room was spacious and clean. We would recommend to others travelers.

The hotel is very nice, but the staff was not really helpful. Also an employee followed me to my room uninvited. There he wanted my key and tried to open the door. When he got me a new key he wanted money for it. One evening I good use the internet and pay for the time I used it, the next night I waited a long time, to find out I should have to pay for an hour even if I would use it 15 minutes.

un trs bon htel, propre, accueillant, trs bonne cuisine et le personnel de salle trs chaleureux. Je garde un trs, trs bon souvenir de cet htel et le recommande vivement.

Since we arrived early in the morning (about 6 o'clock) our rooms were not ready yet and the reception staff was sleeping. It has been a little bit difficult to understand each other as in chinese as in english but at the end they gave us a twin room (we were 5 people) just to leave our luggage and have a rest. When we come back at night from our daily trip they gave us two other rooms. The rooms are really cute and clean. Since just in front of the hotel there were people working for the hotel we woke up with noises, but it has been only a case.The breakfast also was really good and there were lots of things.

Using TCG to book has been really useful, but it requires time. If you have the urgency to book a room in 10 minutes, maybe it is not so appropriated, since you can not book your hotel directly from the internet site, but you have to send a request to them and they in 12 hours will reply. Anyway it is a good site.
