Dear Lena, Thank you for your invite to participate on my comments of the hotels that I stayed in during my visits to China. As for the Days Hotel, the services are very good but the hotel location was not convenient for our shopping and transport was quite difficult as it was in the main road. My booking experiences with you have been very good so far. In fact you did tell me that if I cannot fax you my credit cards, you will trust me to honor my bookings with you. The only problem I had with you was that you did not take my words when I told you that I did stay at the Days Hotel which you said I was a no-show and you also said that Mr. Lee Thien Fook double booked with you. I am the only person to do all our bookings with you. Anyway, I am glad that the matter was cleared up without any hassles. I will be going to Macau and China again in August 2008 and look forward to do my hotels reservations with you. The hotel entrance is too small to be found, it?? lobby is on the 5th floor. I?? not used to such a structure. But the service is good. Days Hotel Luohu is close to the train station, just walking distance, 10 minutes drive to the Luohu pass, very convenient. It values the money I spent. The bathroom was great!The downside was the distance from the railway station to the hotel..it was more than 50 metres which would not have been a problem had we not had 8 pieces of luggage and then had 55 steep steps to traverse. It was more like 300 metres but after the steps it felt like you had run a marathon! The hotel staff were very friendly and we would definitely stay there again if we were in Shenzhen. In addition, the hotel is just located in the border crossing to Hong Kong as well as Luohu port and the Shenzhen subway ?a very good location, convenient transportation for the travelers. It would be good if the staff were able to speak more English but other than that, The service provided by all the staff attending to us during our stay at Days Luohu Hotel, was very good. There is KFC, Pizza Hut , McDonalds and Starbucks very close by for those craving American food. I stayed at this hotel for two nights! I was enjoying my stay! It is definitely a four-star hotel as rated in most of websites. Staffs in the hotel are very courteous and helpful. Most of them can speak English which is rare in China. Room I stayed was luxurious, equipped with internet access, cable TV etc. There was no bathtub in the bathroom, but it was also nicely done. Many amenities were provided in the room. For example, free ironing board, toothbrushes, combs, shampoo, lotion.and so on. In addition, I would like to recommend their western restaurant. The food is delicious and cheap. But if you preferred Chinese food, kindly remind you that you will have to pay the Chinese cash when you settle the bill, since you could not charge the meal to your room and payment by credit card weren? allowed.
