Hello Lena, Thank you for the email. I will try to respond to your questions as best I can. 1. The would rate the Days Hotel as 3 out of 5 (5 being the best). The facilities were reasonably. The hotel was well presented and my room was of a high standard. The staff service was also good, although as a foreign traveller who cannot speak Mandarin their English was basic meaning some of my questions could not be answered. The facilities seemed reasonable although I did not get a chance to visit the gym, or restaurant. The location was very close the Shanghai Railway station and although the front of the hotel was on the main road, the rear of the hotel (as you approach from the station) was not well sign posted or presented. The surrounding area is obviously going through a period of mass redevelopment and as such there were a large number of building sites causing a lot of dust in the area. I would have give the hotel a 4 out of 5 but the location isn't that good. I was scheduled to be picked up to go to Tai Cang and was unaware that the hotels location and the restriction on traffic allowed on the highway meant that it was actually a bad choice and would increase the journey time out of Shanghai. 2. The booking experience was very good and the helped my greatly with my late visa application. The information provided was excellent although some online guide or review/rating of the hotel from previous travellers would be useful so those booking can learn from other people's experience. Hello Ms Lena, I should say my stay at Days Hotel, Shanghai was a very pleasant one for the location, cleanliness, the hospitality of the staff, helping attitude and many more factors for me to certainly recommend this hotel to all know. I will without doubt stay only in this hotel when I visit Shanghai next time. As for the booking service, it was one of the rarest services I have experienced due to prompt booking confirmations despite the fact that I had changed my travel dates 3 times in one month...! Hi Lena, Please note below my review on the Days Hotel in Shanghai. I WOULD RATE THEM 7 OUT OF 10. The rooms are neat and clean and the best thing is we got upgraded to a suite. Also free internet service in the room, a great value added service to hotel guests. I can't give comments on the location of the hotel because we arrived very late that night and we left early in the morning directly to the cruise terminal.
