We have enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It is centrally situated. Walking distance in wangfujing street and subway station. Going around in Beijing is never a problem. There is internet cable in the room, which we have not used though. Wifi access is available in the lobby and in the cafeteria. The room is small but just enough since we only stay there to sleep at night. And most of the time we are outside. The staff can speak English well and it gave us so much relief coz it’s difficult to communicate from people outside. Overall I recommend this hotel and if ever I will be back in Beijing I will choose this hotel again. Thanks to all the staff!

At our arriving, the staff takes a lot of time to take a decision about our reservation. This of course, created an uncertain for us, because to find a room suddenly another hotel in Beijing in the high season is not easy. But finally, after one hour they gave us a room.

Only the TCG service was perfect, very good. I'll not say the same for the employees from the Hotel; they were very busy and I didn't feel any satisfaction.
The room price $70 is too high for this category hotel.

Hotel location is great, very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Facilities are good, as expected for the price and 3 star rating. Breakfast was good, with Chinese and Western options. A small convenience inside the hotel provides access to snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc. The hotel itself was not spectacular, merely adequate, however this is more than compensated for by the excellent location.

Staff services are really beyond what i had expected and i will say the people of Beijing had really set a new standard within me compare to Sothern China. Kudos to the people of Beijing, extremely friendly and helpful.
The nearest subway is Tian An Men Tong (Tian An Men East) and take exit C which u walk for about 10 mins and turn left at the 2nf junction and walk less den 3-4 mins and u can see the hotel sign.
Near by attractions:
- Tian An Men (10 mins walk) you will land up near to the front of Palace and directly opposite is the Tain An Men sq with the various buildings around it
- Palace (as per above)
- Front gate street is just further down the Tian An Men and pls explore the streets behind the main Front gate street
- Wang Fu Jin shopping street and small snacks street (a must to visit)
*note there is another street with small stall just further down the main Wang fu jin street
- for many of the popular attractions take the MTR
Booking via TCG is great and easy - got the hotel and my domestic tickets from them.
