Dear Bruce:
My wife and I would like to thank Travel China Guide booking center for helping us with our hotel reservations in Beijing and Shanghai. TCG was very helpful when we called to change our reservation in Beijing due to flight delay. We would certainly recommend to our friends your services, and will use it ourselves in our future travels to China.

As for our stay in Days Inn Joiest Hotel Beijing:
Facilities in hotel.....Satisfactory. Internet service charge was a bit pricey..30 yuan per hour.
Staff services.....Very helpful
Location....a short taxi ride to major attractions and restaurants. Subway is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Interesting neighbourhood.

Sincerely,

Charles & Christine.

The service provided by Travel China Guide was very efficent and clear. Thank you.

The Days Inn Joiest in Beijing had a pretty good location. We walked to most sights (about a 20 minute walk to Tianamen square). However it was not very close to any subway stations.

The rooms were clean and modern. The beds were quite hard though. It felt like we were sleeping on a box spring as opposed to a mattress.

The daily breakfast was good a good value for the money.

I definitely would not recommend this hotel. Not only where the sheets not cleaned daily but daily slippers were no where to be found. Every morning at 7am the banging of the hotel attendants opening and closing doors was espcially irritating. I got calls at 12pm at night asking questions regarding the room and whether I still wanted the room. The first day I booked the hotel, when I got to the hotel they said there were no rooms available and that I had booked some other room. The manager asked the front desk rep to confirm what she said. What a joke of a place. I definitely will not be staying here agaim.

My fiancee and I stayed here for a week. The room was not clean and the halls were dirty too. The house staff did not honor requests for a better room nor did they give us a softer bed. The location is convienent to most tourist locations but they need to clean this place. We will not stay here again.

Of the 17 hotels we stayed in while in China this was the best 3 star. We stayed there for 9 nights in Sept 2007 and I would highly recommend it. The staff very very curteous and friendly. The room clean and spacious ( we did have a deluxe room). The hotel is a $4 taxi ride from the Forbidden city however a major shopping area is 10 minutes walk.
In particular I would recommend the resturant on the top floor. Both staff and food were fantastic. When we return we will definitely be staying at this hotel.

The service is good and the rooms were clean. When we arrive for the 2nd time very early in the morning we could get the room already without extra charge. If you pay few minutes to study the Beijing map, you don't even need a cab for the nearest touristic places. TianTan, Chongwen district and HuTong, Loashe Teahouse...etc are only 20 min walking distance.

We were very pleased with the booking made through TCG. We stayed at the Days Inn Joiest Hotel, Beijing. The hotel and the room were fine; the room was not overly large but it was definitely adequate; the staff were friendly and helpful; the location was good. It was possible to walk to places, eg. Temple of Heaven, though we preferred to take a cab as we are not great walkers. TCG was very efficient and professional about the booking. They contacted me via email quickly when they received my booking, and also when it was confirmed by the hotel. I would use them again without any hesitation. Rebecca Katz

TCG was very helpful with getting me the hotel I wanted. The staff were very friendly, gave me some great suggestions, very prompt e-mails, and my room was ready when I got to the hotel!! The hotel was what I expected after traveling in China several times before. The bed was very firm, room not too big, great TV, western bathroom, and very friendly staff. The front desk staff took care of every need, exchanging money, directions, helping get us to get to tourist attractions and many other needs!! If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel within walking distance of Forbidden City and other attractions this is the hotel!!

I inform you that the reception for my wife and I was very good at Hotel DaysInn.
My only complaint was that the matress was too hard and I had back akes. But the service gave another softer bad. The shampoo was very good and the body lotion too..
Best regards,
