Good location, walking distance to major attractions which is totally worth it in Beijing because it's a big city. Few staff members speak chinese really. The carpet is dirty in the room but apparently it's like that eveywhere in hotels, so I did not let it bother me. Good value for money. I would stay there again. Close to major attractions - the Square, Forbidden City, etc. all in walking distance. Courteous, friendly staff. I can only reinforce the comments that Rod Harper has already made. The location was great, the rooms were good and the staff helpful. The hotel provided a quality unobtrusive and helpful service to us and was a haven to come home to after a busy day visiting the sites of Beijing. We were very pleased with it and would recommend it to friends.
