My father and I stayed at this hotel for a week while we toured Beijing. It was centrally located and quiet, though would be difficult to find if you were not familiar with the area. If you are arriving from the airport, I would suggest that you contract the transportation via the hotel site as it was difficult to locate. The carpets could use a good vac, but I felt the bed and bath were clean though the beds are hard and the room small. I would recommend this hotel for future travelers that wish a true Chinese experience. The desk clerks did not speak good English, but they did their best to understand what you were asking - using their computers to translate for them

The hotel location was excellent and I had no problems finding my way there. For traveler’s info, at Dongsi Station, take exit B and go towards your right. You will pass a couple of alley ways and just look out for Dongsi Wutiao (alley). The room is a little worn but for the price charged, it's acceptable. As for the staff, they need to work on their friendliness and helpfulness. There's also a foot massage service about 10m from the hotel which was really good; especially after a day of walking. Highly recommended.
TCG Booking Centre's service is excellent as the staff did give valuable and valid advice on my booking.

Basically the stay has been satisfactory, no complains or anything about the service provided although the price is slightly on the high side. At first when booking for a room to fit for 3 persons, we're advised that the room will be quite small. But then, finally we decided to get a Deluxe Queen-size Bed Room. No worry, the room can nicely fit for 3 of us. :)
Transportation is not a problem here. You can easily get a bus to the places of attractions.

They even once called me on my mobile suggesting booking a different room because they knew we were 3 people and the room I booked was not suitable. All just perfect - thx. guys !
I stayed at that hotel already for the 2nd time but most probably for the last time because in the same price category one can get better hotels in China. The hotel though is very conveniently located with quick access to subway and city center and some major tourist attractions.
On the downside, the hotel is already a bit shabby and in need of repair, the walls are to thin, so if you have a noisy neighbor you may have problems. This time CCTV9 the only commonly available TV channel was gone, Internet is rather slow. But I have no major complaints about the hotel, neither.
