Silka Seaview Hotel Hong Kong (former Dorsett Seaview Hotel), opened in 1994 and re-furnished in 2002, is located at the most prosperous entertainment & food & shopping center. It is also adjacent to Yau Ma Tei subway station and commercial area on Nathan Road. Tin Hou Temple, Ping Min Market and Jade Market are just at hand. The convenient traffic and diversified shopping selections make the hotel an ideal dwelling place for both businessmen and tourists. The hotel has 27 stories and owns 268 suites. All the guest-chambers are well-equipped with independent temperature-control air conditioner, splendid bathroom, mini-bar and remote control TV. Delicacies of China, Western countries and South-east Asia are collected in the comfortable and magnificent restaurant in the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel provides such service as parking lot, foreign currency exchange, laundry and so on.

As for the hotel, hmmmmm, is hard to say. I just list the good thing and bad thing for others who will go to Hong Kong
Good thing:
1. good location: it is about 3-5 minutes walk to the MTR, it is quite easy to go to where you want. Also, there are buses stops around. Taxi is also convenient and cheap. We like the Night Market very much, it is just outside of the hotel. Could find lots of shops there.
2. cheap, compared to other 3 star hotels in Hong Kong, this hotel is very affordable, although I do not think it is qualified for 3 star standard.
Bad thing:
1. Tiny: tiny lobby, tiny elevator, tiny room, tiny bed, tiny TV?, We have prepared the room will be little smaller than other places, since it is in Hong Kong, however, we still think it is too tiny for comfortable stay. We even can not put our luggage in the closet. One person stand in, then there will be no extra space. That? it.
2. Hotel reception service need improvement, not rude so , but really not qualified.
3. Internet access fee is too expensive.
4. 10 HKD for depositing the luggage, we had never met another hotel charging or this fee.
5. Bathroom is not clean, too much dust on the air conditioning
Summary, do not recommend this hotel for who looking for comfortable stay, romantic holidays. However, if you just need a hotel to survive for a couple of days and want to save money, maybe you can have a try.
