I rate overall staying with Eva Inn as very satisfy, room is clean, staff are friendly, location is good as the hotel area is quiet however surroundings in short distance are full of shopping and F&B outlets, body & foot reflexology bars & KTV, also nearby to some attraction points.

Don't expect too much from the breakfast thou coz it was no changes in variety for the 4 days I was there. Room is good for the price but no point going for any "Riverview" room coz you see nothing except big old trees. I suggest the hotel to classify the "Riverview room" as normal standard room, than it will be fairer.

I will give 10 points to the booking with TCG, from internet booking to airport pickup, ad-hoc responses are fast. I will definitely use TCG again and recommend Eva Inn to you if the budget suits you.

I can assure you that the breakfast on offer is not western at all. Western people do not eat noodles, corn and other vegetables for breakfast. The hotel has a tour booking service which is very good thanks to the friendly staff. Visitors will receive 2 bottles of water everyday and upon arrival you will receive some fresh fruit. I would stay there again.

The room is very comfortable, reasonably spacious and with good layout. It must have just been refurbished. However, the corridors looked overdue for refurbishment, it looks old and worn out.

The cafe at 7th floor is disappointing, in terms of environment as well as food, cheap but no quality.

The Eva Inn was a nice hotel. My husband and I stayed there during the off season for three nights. They were accommodating and the staff was very helpful. After we had checked out they allowed us to leave our bags behind the hotel check in until we left that evening. The location was great, right downtown next to the river. It was easy to catch the bus to go to many of the famous tourist spots. We ate breakfast there as well. It is a Chinese breakfast but they had many choices and the food was good. Don't be fooled by the river view room though. We stayed in both a standard room and a river view room. I preferred the standard room because it was bigger with a bigger bed and a bathtub. It was also the cheaper room. The river view room was disappointing. It is a much smaller room and you really don't have a view of the river because there are too many trees blocking the view. It was too expensive for what you get. I definitely recommend the cheaper room. It is a better value. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would stay at that hotel again. Thanks TCG for making our travel stress free.
