Hello sirs:

About our reservations in Garden Hotel was not as happy as we want, we were a group of 13, lucky that I arrive 2 days before so I can ask about the reservation of the others, but surprise that when I ask about the reservation in the hotel counter they said that your office did not transfer that reservation money yet so they can not confirm, in other words no rooms available for them, then I have to call your office, and not once I called 2 o 3 times and at least 2 or 3 hours before the group arrive you and the hotel can confirm that reservation, your office said the money was transfer to the bank and the hotel said that they did not receive the transfer yet.

I see the problem is that you make the transfer so late, and I think it is not correct

Yours,

Angelica Tay de Chau

Dear Mr. Angelica,

Thank you very much for your patience.

Dear sir, we do have rechecked your booking and we do have made the money transfer on March 06. After that, we do have checked with the Financial Department of the hotel and were informed by them that they do have received the total account. However, since the lack of communication between the Financial Department and the hotel Front Desk, the staff in the front desk did not receive any notification of your prepayment in advance. Thus caused the trouble when you checked in. The hotel are really sorry for the trouble that have brought to you and they will make more progress in their service and will offer you a higher quality service in the following days. Thank you again for your kind reply.

Besides, our booking center also has mistakes since we did not checked your booking with the front desk before your arrival. Please accept our sincere apology and we are sure we will offer you a high quality service in the next cooperation. Thank you very much for your sincere comments as well as your patience.

We are looking forward to welcoming you as our most valued guest in the near future.

Best regards,

Lena Qian

I stayed in Garden Hotel during Canton Fair, since most hotels had been fully booked except the expensive ones, such as Garden. It was a great 5-star hotel in Guangzhou, especially, it was renovated recently. The room we got was very clean, also very spacious. From the big window could see the city view. Beds were hard (typical in China), spent the first night to get used to it. Later felt ok.
Buffet breakfast of the hotel was good, but since it was during the fair, the place was obvious too crowed for so many people. The same reason, had to queue on this queue on that?a little annoying.

But all in all, it was a good hotel and worth for the high price. We will stay in this hotel next time but not during any fair.
