Garden View-YMCA Hotel is located on MacDonnell Road inside the superior residential area. There, you could easily appreciate the splendid scenery of the Central, Sheung Wan and Victoria Harbor. This hotel enjoys the free transportation. There are many shuttle buses crossing regularly. It is surrounded by Jinzhong Subway Station (a station on Hong Kong MTR's Tsuen Wan Line and the Island Line) and Skystar Ferry Pier. You could spend only a few minutes to walk to Central business & financial centers, mountain-top cableway station or Lan Kwai Fong. Near the hotel is Hong Kong botanical garden, at which you may enjoy the great varieties of biological species, including various rare animals and verdant plants. All these help you relax with refreshment. Each room has French window; even some suits are equipped with open kitchens.

The hotel is very clean and new. The room we got is big size, compared to normal HK standard. We could see the botanical garden out of window, view is prefect. Since it located in the mid-level, around was the residence, so it was very quiet at night. But have to say that transportation is not that convenient. Need to get a taxi or tram to the Central.
Also, service of the hotel needs improvement. Cannot change currency, no medical service, etc. Some staff need English training.

More good than bad, we will stay in this hotel again in the future.
