Good location across the street from historic pagoda. Lots of shops are near by the hotel. You could walk to the pedestrian shopping areas. From the outside it looked pretty modern and the hotel lobby was nicely decorated. However, the regular room was too small for the family of four. Staff in the hotel was very helpful and pleasant. They upgraded our room to a nice suite. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was very nice mixed with local and western foods. My children liked it so much. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Sorry this is very late. My wife and I was with a group that stayed at the Gloria Plaza on Sept. 19, 2006. The staff was very professional. Assisted our every request. Very courteous. Good work! Keep it up!

WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT !
*Do not buy the VIP booklets, they trick you into a room downgrade. The suite was comprable to a Motel 8, nothing worked; the window wouldnt open, the iron was broken and the room smelled like mold. The food there was sickening. We transfered to another room and there was a loud high pitch noise from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. - when we complained and asked for a credit for at least one night, they offered us a free meal! No thanks. We transferred to the Galacta Hotel which is beautiful. I would rate the Gloria Plaza Hotel at a negative five stars!
