We had a free pickup from the airport. You will be brainwashed with all the possible trips, by the tour guide before you are in the hotel. Don't order too quickly, you can find the same trip, cheaper, outside the hotel.
The hotel is trendy, clean, and not so quiet; you can hear everything from the neighbor rooms. Breakfast is poor. The staff speaks English. And don't forget to make a bamboo trip on the Li River when you visit Guilin.
Booking with TCG was very staightforward and meant we knew where we were going after arriving tired in a strange city. We were surprised how easy it was to book our hotel in China and used TCG for another booking on the same trip.
Must try Guilin Noodle at RMB 2.50. Cheers.
