However, as a frequent user of the hotel I have been on a few occasions alarmed by the lax security. On one occasion, my friend managed to wrangle a key to my (single occupancy) room when I wasn't around, and I came back to my room to find her inside. The hotel denied the possibility of this occurring, despite it having occurred.
On my last trip, I was woken by a bunch of drunken bar girls I vaguely knew banging on my door on the 23rd floor at 5am. As I had neither given them my room number, or invited them to visit me, I can only wonder how the conversation at the front desk went. Nevertheless the hotel assisted them to find me, rather than assisting my security and right to have a peaceful sleep (even in the case that someone urgently wanted to see me, the front desk should have had the courtesy of giving me a call in advance). Lodging a complaint was difficult because of the lack of English at the front desk.
Now I would be wary of suggesting that people use this hotel, and would suggest that unless they especially enjoy the "nightlife" of Gongbei district, they look to one of the other suburbs.

The hotel room is very spacious and clean; value for the money that I paid. The only complaint that I have is the receptionist. They are very rude. I do understand that the hotel needs CNY500 as deposit so I used my credit card. They swiped my credit card at total amount CNY1280 (together with the room charges) and required me to sign on the slip. Of all the hotel that I stay before never required the guest to sign on the deposit credit card slip as it is usually will be distorted if we do not use the room facilities. When I ask what the reason is, the receptionist should explain well to the guest with good manner. The hotel needs to improve their staff service and manner. Other than that overall I felt comfortable to stay at the hotel.

In regards to the hotel cancellations, firstly I thought it was to expensive in relation with the quality of the hotel; secondly the rooms are very small ...even when you sit on the toilet you have to compete with the vanity basin also the breakfast hall is circular and inconvenient for self service...anyway that just my opinion...but their problem...

For a 4 Star Rated Hotel is very good, it's near town and shopping is convenient. The trouble is the Hotel Name in English is entirely different from the Chinese Name and the people there do not know the Hotel English name at all. It was lucky that we saw the Guang Dong Hotel Apartment while we were driving pass that we stop the driver to bring us there. The Hotel is just opposite the apartment. The driver told us this hotel is very well known in Zhuhai but you gave me the wrong name. So next time when any booking goes thru' your company pls print the Chinese name to them.
