I enjoyed my stay in Guadong Guesthouse, the service is good, the rate is higher during the Canton Fair. I would suggest the change of the room floor carpet and the remodelation of the SPA. An unexpected daily round trip bus service was included from the Hotel to the Canton Fair very appreciated during the raining season. I also liked the inner restaurant. Besides, it is also close to some attractions, Yuexiu Park, Cheng Ancestral Temple. The Six Banyan Temple is also within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel itself is kind of old and need renovation. However, the environment is great, the Chinese courtyard garden hotel in the busy center of Guangzhou while very quiet. The service of the hotel is good too. Staff could understand us easily and when ask for some extra things, they react quickly. Our only complaint was the window. It is locked, thus, could not be opened. We will stay in this hotel again and would love to recommend it to our friends. Guest Name : Coensel Updated : 2008-1-2 Guangdong Guesthouse is an old hotel. Hotel location is perfect, with walking distance to the metro station and Beijing road. The transportation is also convenient. Especially, there are shuttle buses from the hotel to Hong Kong every day. It may be nicer hotel once, but now the hotel facilities are out of fashion. The room I stayed was spacious with well-air condition, but the bed was a little bit hard and carpet has some water spots.
