Sir, you're suggested to stay near Beijing Road or Tianhe district. Beijing road is the most developed part of Guangzhou where the shopping and transportation is quite convenient whereas Tianhe district is a newly developed area of the city. For the hotels, you can search directly by selecting the corresponding location on the page.

According to the incomplete statistics, now the number of the opening 5 star hotels including those to be valued in Guangzhou has reached 22. Before the Asian Games in 2010, the number of the star-rated hotels in the downtown will be increased by 50%, and reaching 300.

The hotel management showed the room rate of the high star-rated hotels declined by more than 10% due to the financial crisis last year. However in this year, many hotels plan to increase the room rate by 10%-20%. During the Asian Games period, the room rate will be increased even by 50%.

I found TCG and the booking service to be excellent. Got everything I asked for. Landmark hotel was very good. Beds were so so hard. Would happily stay there again.
