 Hi, and thanks for your quick service. I am happily at Osmanthus hotel. They had booked me into a twin room with small beds but have got it changed without fuss. Now I have the non smoking room with king size bed. I know, I did not remember to request a NSR but I got the idea that a deluxe room would autom be with a king size bed? That seems not to be the case. In the reception they told me both are deluxe rooms and I must say, there is a huge difference between the rooms. Please check your room info, just in case.( this could be my misstake too)
my first impression:
Staff very young and a little ignorant(took me a while to get some help with the luggage)
Booking system seems to be a bunch of papers and that took also a while before they found the reservation.
Hotel would need some freshing up. Has seen it's best days. The parts where you can smoke are really smelly. Even this room I have smells like cigarettes.
Chinese restaurant exxxxcellent!( could change the napkins though that seem to have permanent stains and holes)The room I have is tidy, very well cleaned and has the relevant things.
Even though I am quite pleased with the hotel and it's location. The price seems to be hand in hand with the "quality"
Please, do not take this as an complaint. If I needed more, I would have booked me into a 5star hotel :))
I just want to share the thoughts and impression I got.
The impression of your service is excellent and I will def. use your services again.

The main draw back of the Osmanthus hotel is that it is full of Western Tourist on coach tours. Not a single chinese person stayed in the same wing as us, just other Austalians French etc. When we wanted to eat in the Chinese resturant we were told it was only for Chinese and we were only allowed to eat in the European resturant. After we complained to the manager he showed us a Chinese resturant up the road.
The second drawback is the hotel is getting old.
Overall more suited to coach tours.

We were happy with hotels books through your organization. The most important was the excellent and very convenient location of hotels recommended by TCG (both Osmanthus in Guilin and Melody in Xian). We will recommend TCG to our friends.

Landscape Courtyard we found somewhat charming but very large and touristy. The staff were mostly unhelpful and seemed to not care one way or the other what happened with their guests. The price was right, though.

first of all I want to let you know that on monday Oct.16, 2006 my wife and myself arrived safely at 5:45 p.m.in Munich again.
I can assure you that we are satisfied with your service and service of Osmanthus hotel as well during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your excellent service to my friends here in Germany if they need some informations. Especially I appreciate your prompt replies upon my questions.
The location of the Osmanthus hotel is very good, close to the citycenter and shopping area, all in walking distance.
We don't have any complains concerning cleaniness, facilities or staff services as they meet our requirements.
Hotelstaff and personal are polite and attentive. The only restriction I have to make: The orangejuice for breakfast tastes a little bit too artificial!
This hotel deserves my recommendations anyway.
We also don't have any objections if you use my hotel appraisement for your service purposes.
I really will use your services again for my next china holidayplanning.

I'm back from my trip to China and I'm really satsfied of the trip and of the service and the choice of the hotels.
1. Concerning the service before the reservation, I'm happy to tell you that I was very satisfied of the service (reaction time, correctness of the information, simplicity, ...). I will certainly re-use and recommend your services. I had also to clarify and modify some reservations by phone during my trip and did went well with your helpdesk (but see my suggestion hereafter).
2. Concerning the hotels, I was also satisfied. I just have two comments concerning the hotel in Jiuzhaigou. The other hotels were following my expectations and following the expected rate of hotels, a good quality/price ratio.
For the rest, I'm satisfied of your service and I want to thank you for the quality and the politeness of your staff.
