The staff at the reception is very helpful. The location of this hotel is strategically located close to city centre, tourist attractions and by the river with beautiful scenery and picturesque landscape. For Muslim travelers there is no problem there are a few restaurants serve halal food nearby, one at town centre near Guilin bus station, two at Mizu Street near the bridge. If I visit Guilin I will stay at this hotel again.

The booking service was good and we had no problems with the reservations except in two cases the extra bed had not been put in and we had to get the reception to organize it after we arrived.

The Osmathus hotel - rooms were good (once extra bed installed) with excellent river views but the public areas were extremely cold with no heating when outside temperature was only about 6C. We paid for breakfast which was quite expensive but no other guests were having breakfast and the staff had nothing prepared. Reception was helpful in getting taxis for us.
