The Guilin Park Hotel was my personal favorite on the trip. Of course that's because our room was special and got a nice extension which made it considerably bigger than everyone else's. Another four star hotel, it was located along a beautiful river lined with artificially lit, but still, rather romantic trees. It looked fabulous when we pulled in at night, driving slowly to admire the trees, and then going over a bridge to cross the river and get to our moat-protected castle of a hotel. And as a four-star hotel, the rooms were very nicely decorated, and had a distinctly Chinese touch to it with eastern-style wooden decor. Breakfast was also great offering French toast, pancakes, and muesli, among other things. The only complaint that I had about this hotel was that the card-key didn't quite work. It was the type of card-key that you simply touch to a sensor, rather than inserting it into a slot or swiping it. While novel, the sensor wasn't strong enough, and we couldn't just leave the key in our wallets. In fact, it would often take several tries before the lock would beep and open, since we had to find the critical sweet-spot on the key. I would be very sad to leave this hotel for the place we stayed in at Yangshuo.

we have in fact moved hotel after finding the Guilin Park expensive and disappointing. The suite was small incomparison to other hotels, more expensive and regrettably, not at all comfortable, there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the room and the bed was as hard as the floor. We have every intention of staying at the hotel booked through you in Yangshou and our decision to move in no way reflects on the excellent service we have received from you. The Guilin Park was an unfortunate choice. I fully intend to book travel through your company in the future and am happy with your service, maybe more online testemonials could avoid similar problems in the future.
Thanks, P Golomer.

Nice hotel in pleasant grounds and great location however the suite at Guilin Park was rather small and was not as good value for money as a junior suite at the Sheraton. The main problem was the total lack of comfort, the bed was very hard as was the furniture in the room, lovely to look at but not to sit on.

This is a clean and very comfortable hotel. It is located in a nice area with the lake nearby. The massages in the spa are of excellent value.

It was OK but I could not use your services after Guilin as booking is not online. If booking was on line i could use your services much more for hotel reservation in Xian, Shanghai and Beijing which I did by phone or other ways.
Guilin Park hotel was very convinient and services were good. Also travel desk for local trips was well orgenized.
