The two hotels is very close to each other and the distance is less than 500meters. But it is better for you to take the airport bus to Wulinmen CAAC stop first and then take a taxi directly.

You could take the airport bus or taxi to the train station in the city center directly, where many hotels are available, such as Nanyuan Inn (Qingchun Road), Hangzhou, Redstar Culture Hotel, Hangzhou and etc. On the next day, you could take a high-speed train to Shanghai from the nearby train station.

Hi, you may select a nice comfort inn for accommodation, such as Flower Inn (West Lake) Hangzhou and York Hotel (West Lake), Hangzhou in The West Lake Scenic Area, Elan Inn (East Railway Station), Hangzhou in East Railway Station area and so on. Or, you can choose a preferential one on the page by yourself.

Both the hotels are located close to Wulin Square, and Hongdu Hotel is 3-star one renovated in 2010. Hongda Hotel is a quasi-3 star one with 85 guest rooms offered. For more details, you could search on the web by yourself.

The West Lake is not far from the city center. Personally, you'd better choose one hotel close to the west lake, such as Lake-View Hotel, Hangzhou, Crystal Orange Hotel, Hangzhou, Friendship Hotel Hangzhou and so on. Besides, the silk textile companies are mainly located there.
